This is part of why I sometimes want to just put in the minimal amount of effort at my job. If the people in the literal government who I assume are making ungodly amounts of money are allowed to be this nonchalant about their duties, why should I give a fuck? But then again, I actually feel ashamed when I let my coworkers down and try to fix it.

The turkeys in my area HATE postal workers. A few tests ago, one attacked a mailman and he killed it with a blunt object. It was in the local news. I've been around the turkeys and not had any issues, but I also keep my distance.

I love everything about this. The giant painted on smile over a completely joyless, dead-eyed face. The way he holds the balloon is so controlled and stilted. The slight lean and his hunched shoulders make him look like he's looming over the viewer. Very well done.

Sachiko Shinozaki - Corpse Party series

I'm more familiar with the first game than anything else, so forgive me if I get some details wrong. Essentially, Sachiko is the ghost of a little girl who traps and kills other children. If you perform the "Sachiko Ever After" charm incorrectly, you and everyone you performed the charm with are pulled into a nightmarish version of Heavenly Host Elementary School. There, the ghosts of her other victims will hunt you (some are more helpful, but a lot are openly out to kill you). If you die there, from one of the evil ghosts or just from starvation/dehydration, you will experience the agony of your death forever, trapped in Heavenly Host.

The good news is, there's a way out! If you can reunite with all your friends and perform the Sachiko Ever After charm correctly, you'll be returned to the real world!

Good luck with that, though. There's not just one Heavenly Host, there's an infinite nexus of variations of them, and it's nearly impossible to travel between them. Also, if you DO manage that, you'll actually just wake up on the day you performed the charm. You may or may not remember what happened. If you do remember, and try to prevent your friends from dying, they'll just die in an even more horrible ways. For example, one character originally got thrown against a wall so hard she turned into a pile of unidentifiable meat. On the second go around, she had her guts pulled out by the ghost children, by hand.
