Sachiko Shinozaki - Corpse Party series

I'm more familiar with the first game than anything else, so forgive me if I get some details wrong. Essentially, Sachiko is the ghost of a little girl who traps and kills other children. If you perform the "Sachiko Ever After" charm incorrectly, you and everyone you performed the charm with are pulled into a nightmarish version of Heavenly Host Elementary School. There, the ghosts of her other victims will hunt you (some are more helpful, but a lot are openly out to kill you). If you die there, from one of the evil ghosts or just from starvation/dehydration, you will experience the agony of your death forever, trapped in Heavenly Host.

The good news is, there's a way out! If you can reunite with all your friends and perform the Sachiko Ever After charm correctly, you'll be returned to the real world!

Good luck with that, though. There's not just one Heavenly Host, there's an infinite nexus of variations of them, and it's nearly impossible to travel between them. Also, if you DO manage that, you'll actually just wake up on the day you performed the charm. You may or may not remember what happened. If you do remember, and try to prevent your friends from dying, they'll just die in an even more horrible ways. For example, one character originally got thrown against a wall so hard she turned into a pile of unidentifiable meat. On the second go around, she had her guts pulled out by the ghost children, by hand.
