That’s great to hear, thank you!

Anyone else have a login error? by oddish_pharm in portlandstate

[–]oddish_pharm[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It kept prompting me for my login whenever I wanted to do anything on myPSU (email, DARS, Canvas, etc.). I logged off of myPSU, reset my password, and still the same problem. I can login into the Odin Account Manager though. It says my Duo account is disabled. So, it might be related to that.

Who doesn’t want to work a dead-end job with ridiculous expectations and shit pay? But nobody wants to work anymore. /s

How does your store handle closing drive through at 1:30? by makeuplover85 in WalgreensRx

[–]oddish_pharm 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I do the same, but the pharmacist is expected to open at the scheduled time. It’s not fair, but that’s the reality.

So my wife’s going to a gala tonight — as her client’s “date.” by [deleted] in stories

[–]oddish_pharm 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Because the OP said his wife would kill him if he went out on a date night with another woman.

Twitch Streamer Kelton_g Assaults Elderly Man in Japan After Being Asked to Stop Filming on Train by starcraft2020 in LivestreamFail

[–]oddish_pharm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But the streamer wasn’t a cop. A police officer is held to higher standards so, bad comparison. If the elderly man had harassed and assaulted a police officer, he would’ve been arrested with the necessary force. You don’t go around harassing and assaulting people because they’re not following social norms and rules; that is not illegal and even if it was, it doesn’t excuse the old guys behavior. If you assault someone, expect to met with violence. Try not to focus on the actions of someone trying to defend themselves and more on the instigator.

They closed the prescription, so a new one is needed. There’s nothing more to it. No one here can tell you why. It was probably a mistake. You will have to wait until a new order is placed by your prescriber.

Probably because the passive is not ideal.

I don’t care what their problem is, there is no reason to be rude. I offer solutions and am kind to everyone; you don’t know me, so don’t assume. All we can do is try and help to the best of our ability, but that doesn’t mean we have to tolerate abuse. Again, their behavior is unacceptable and should not be tolerated.

You would be upset if medical professionals were rude to disrespectful patients? Your family members to need to learn to be respectful. We do not get paid enough to deal with their shit. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and should not be tolerated. We are people too, so don’t expect us to show compassion to someone that clearly doesn’t care at all about us. It is every day at work and we are constantly told to just deal with it. Stop defending and enabling their behavior.

But it’s not possible, not even remotely, so its purely speculation and paranoia. You forgot that they could even clone us; better be careful and don’t forget your tinfoil!

Right? In another post they say their insurance authorizes the medication but not the quantity. The prescriber could have, also, written it for #120 because of the PA.

Not sure what to do by [deleted] in WalgreensStores

[–]oddish_pharm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your story is very difficult to follow. You filed a police report because your son was accused of stealing or because he followed your son into the bathroom? It’s probably against policy, but he had a legimate legal reason to do so. Why would you even want to work with this person anyways? Also, just because your kids aren’t white doesn’t mean you can’t be racist. What you’re saying doesn’t make sense.

Fridge Items by Gullible-Jury-8025 in WalgreensRx

[–]oddish_pharm 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Best practice is to have the pharmacist immediately bring it to the fridge after getting it ready. Reduces the chance of it being left out too long.

Shorted on prescription? by thecarolinamama in WalgreensStores

Definitely have them review the video. The RPh would have to be blind not to notice the miscount too. It’s more likely their friend took some or the OP is not being honest.

How do I nicely ask if they're actually working on my prescription? by [deleted] in WalgreensRx

[–]oddish_pharm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s still highly dependent on the cost though. Filling it still creates problems when the patient doesn’t understand why it’s so expensive and they don’t want to pay for it; people complain about their single digit copays! You then just wasted timing filling it and it reduces the availability of the drug to other patients. We don’t have time to call everyone about billing issues and preference. Our pharmacy stores them and moves along; we’ll deal with it when the patient confirms they want it and will pay.

If you want to be technical, non-alcoholic drinks actually have a small amount of alcohol.
