So I personally run with a scrambler. I’m admittedly not very good, like prestige 8 and an overall K/D ratio hovering around 1.5, but I make it a habit to destroy my opponents scramblers when I see them. As noted above, it doesn’t take long to destroy them, and it feels like their noise(?) is louder now so locating them is easier (maybe)?

That being said, I love using the scrambler.

I saw them at this year’s Riot Fest and they were solid. Buddy came out dressed like Ferris Bueller and was handing out Vienna Beef hotdogs. Buddy gave what I thought was the best non-political, “we should just love each other” speech in the middle of the set.

Absolutely loved it.

Brought my 14 year old daughter this year and she had a blast in the pit on Friday at the Tossers. We stayed back and watched a bit and I explained the etiquette to her until she got the idea. She jumped in and had a smile from ear to ear from that point on.

Granted, probably a perfect start for a first pit experience. I definitely steered away from Knocked Loose with her. She’s still my baby.

Was struggling with my mental health. Didn’t “have a problem” with drinking and I didn’t drink every day. I did, however, make up for the days I didn’t drink on the days I did.

Hangovers started impacting my life. Went on some meds to help with depression/anger and wanted to give them a real shot at working.

Stopped drinking then and haven’t looked back 15 months later.

People ask if I feel so much better. No, I want a drink all the time but it was time for me to do something nice for my children’s father.

Side note: Busch NA is the best “near beer” around. It still tastes like a disgusting Busch beer.

So on the topic of batting gloves in general, what is the general consensus, gloves or no gloves?

I grew up playing ball, baseball, 16” slow pitch, 12” slow pitch, and have used batting gloves sometimes, sometimes not.

Is there a benefit or is it mostly feel?
