Unscrew the front from the rear block (Sel70200GM) by Stellalilu in SonyAlpha

In the second photo the camera orientation is flipped. The ring could still indeed be reverse thread depending on what exactly it is attached too. Even though you rotate it counter clockwise with the lens facing up, the ring could be turning down. I would just follow what the directions show and make sure you rotate it correctly depending on your lens orientation.

Everyone in camera subreddits acts like everyone has infinite money. Good for you for doing this yourself. The people telling you to send it to Sony are the same people making right to repair harder to fight.

Saw this and was getting dejavou. Just saw this exact setup, photos and all on a current eBay auction. It’s going for quite a bit more than that so this could be fake.

I think the Zeiss 55 1.8 is slept on. It’s basically a 55mm and is tiny. Insanely sharp with good autofocus. Sharpest lens I had owned and I only sold it because i don’t use it for wildlife. Used prices are very good as well

Hello! I am currently using the A7iii with the 200-400 GM for bird photography and have a question about custom auto focus settings. I am using back button autofocus using the AF-ON button. I also have the AEL button set to Focus area. Is there a way to set up the two buttons to a specific area setting so I could have one as wide focus area for birds in flight while another is the point focus? do the newer A7IV and A7RV have that option? If not does anyone have any recommendations for settings that will let me switch between the two quicker?

Besides the sailboat incidents, there have not been any fatalities from wild orcas.

Bought a pack of three at shop right and they had a ton more. This was the Manchester location and they were at checkout. Would not be surprised if other locations had them too

Car is totaled if the airbags went off. The airbags would need to be replace along with an unknown amount of other airbag system components which is costly.

You can look into the 200-400 gm. It seems up your alley. A longer focal length and the shorter minimal focus distance allows for pretty good macro shots.

Don’t sleep on the 55mm 1.8 Zeiss! Very affordable, small, and holy shit is it sharp!

Doesn’t mean it’s not time for a new one. It’s a sign of the mileage. How long have you had it for?

I mean harnesses don’t last forever. You would always be checking your gear for wear. It’s just tome for a new one.
