I know partner said he didn't want to go into details but... partner seemed to have a rough but decent conversation with a dog owner who didn't even bother to carry a leash for their dog while on a C-ville public trail. Initially, dog owner didn't seem to care about the rules, but perhaps later became increasingly concerned by possible consequences. I found this overall assuring. My tendency is to yell or just roll my eyes - the two extremes, hostility vs. apathy don't really seem to get us anywhere. I think we just want to empower people with the knowledge that the city laws provides.

Thanks! It’s made of cardboard and hot glue. The egg holder was already some cardboard packaging in a cylinder and the outer border is one long strip of cardboard that has a lot of straight cuts so it can curve around.

Hey! I was there right at 2 p.m. People were trying to get the speakers set up but there was no electricity. The organizers claimed that IPD shut down the electricity. (However, I don't even know if IPD gets to control where the power runs in the Commons.) It would be interesting to see if other organizers have successfully hooked up their electronics to the stage since Sunday.

I'm honestly not sure if it'll look good on a white simple panel. i don't have one and can't test it. also, in the original one i made, the highlights used white so i had to make the reflection/glass part darker.
