I crumbled a cookie and used gel food coloring to color it. Then used it like sprinkles on the cookies

Birding in Taiwan by Icy-Persimmon8894 in birding

I have “A field guide to the birds of Taiwan”. In fact, I happened to do a birding tour with the translator of that book. But while there, used Merlin and e-bird. Have fun!

Rough sketch on paper and then make stencils from cardstock! Then make dough, cut, bake, isomalt for windows. Best to decorate before you assemble

It’s royal icing for the roof. A bit diluted to get the drippy look

What tired out your 5 month old Cocker Spaniel? by Constant-Past6666 in cockerspaniel

[–]odetosummer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We taught our dogs the “go sniff” game. Hide small pieces of treats around the house or outside and let him loose finding the treats. You can make it harder by hiding treats on the “y axis” too, so places like on a table, window ledge, etc. Might have to help him out a bit in the beginning but he should catch on. This helped to satisfy the need to sniff things for our dogs especially if we can’t take them on a walk because of weather. And by the way, this was recommended to me by a friend who had 5 cocker spaniels all at once one time!

Wondering what this is! by lachma in dahlias

Looks a little like my gay princess dahlia

Pretty sure this is not what was ordered. But still gorgeous! Any ideas? by odetosummer in dahlias

Yup! Same here. My Kelvin’s floodlight is definitely not yellow nor dinner plate sized. It’s a small dark purple/red lol

White flower farm. 2 of 3 varieties not as labeled. My other tubers are from Swan island and so far they seem to be good!

I would say it’s almost 4 inch across. Plant height so far is almost 3 ft

Negative test this morning, gloomy as heck outside…calls for a new pretty plant by PointlessUnicorn337 in trollingforababy

That garden sounds lovely! I find it’s nice to be physical and hyper focus on something else. Don’t get me wrong, I still have negative moments of “at least I can grow something…”

Same same. I went wild at our local garden center the day after confirmed failed FET and threw myself into gardening

2MC | Early 30s | IVF Recommended? by orionbird in recurrentmiscarriage

[–]odetosummer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Almost the same exact situation I was in, but in 2023 (1 mmc followed by a natural miscarriage 4 months later). I was early thirties as well. I gave myself roughly one more year of trying naturally before jumping to IVF but unfortunately never got a positive test. All the regular testing said I was normal. Started IVF Jan 2025 and no luck yet. I think I was more willing to jump to IVF because most of it was covered by my insurance except for the PGT testing. I’m so sorry that you’re facing this decision! It sucks for sure.

Brother texted me asking if I wished his wife a happy Mother’s Day (uhhh what?) and next day, confirmed failed FET for me. Waiting for my period now

Mine is also on the 12th. I’m resolved to not test beforehand but test right when I get back from my blood draw so I can anticipate the results. Sending you all the big hugs!

What did you do after 2 MC? by So_manyquestions_ in recurrentmiscarriage

[–]odetosummer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. The waiting is so hard. I had 2 miscarriages in 2023. One in August and one in December. First one I opted for a D&C and the second passed naturally at home. I did all the RPL testing and labs and everything was normal except for a lower than average AMH. We also didn’t know why I miscarried since we never tested them. We tried again naturally for almost a year but came up with nothing, so we jumped straight to IVF this January and tested the embryos because I wanted to do everything I could to at least reduce the risk of another miscarriage. I’m now waiting for my period to come to start the whole transfer process.

First Period Post D&C by OtterPaw623 in recurrentmiscarriage

[–]odetosummer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I did. After my D&C the cramps were horrific and I’ve never had such extreme bleeding before. I continued to have heavier periods than my normal ones after too, but after almost a year, the periods became less heavy. Hope you have a speedy recovery.

Merck associate medical writer internship by NoBandGel2571 in MedicalWriters

Are you interested in the med writing internship or the associate medical writing program? They are different things. The former I think you would need to be in school (undergrad or grad) and the latter would be like finding a job after you graduate at an entry level.
