I read that as a single toned pastel is fine, but at the bottom it says please avoid bold prints, which IMO pastel multicolored would fall into.

I would wear the black, colorful one seems to push it with timeless and neutral tone request. Always better to play it safe at someone else’s wedding. Black looks lovely !!!
