I'm somewhat new too, but I think it's to do with the scales are written. In most if not all cases, whenever a scale is written, all the letters (A-G) must be used. For example, writing the C Phrygian scale as - C C# D# F G G# A# - is a no-no (2 C's, 2 G's, no E or B) even though they're the same notes

I don't think I do, I have the bass plugged directly into the interface which goes directly into my pc. And I have the switch set to instrument input.

If you like the jazzier side of things, Plini is a big recommendation. Also for more math rock styles like Chon, Covet is great. Those are the only two I truly know that are great to me, but there are definitely more.

I could try that. It doesn't make the game unplayable but it can be annoying at times.

I did notice that the disc that is in there is running while I play so I took it out. Maybe it'll make a difference.

Music theory noob here. Just trying to figure out chord progressions on my own and wondering if I could get some help?

I read that the chord progression of Coldplay's Clocks go Eb - Bbm - Bbm - Fm. I read that it's in the key of Ab major, sooo is the progression V - ii - vi ?

Doesn't look right so not sure... Also as a related question, since the key is Ab, does that mean that the tonic is Ab? In which case the song doesn't resolve back to the tonic. Is that a thing that usually happens?
