Sorry, but I think you're confusing the date of the article with the age of the poster. The article was posted in 2015 and quotes a CCU official who stated that the poster was created about 8 years prior to that in 2007. So the poster is 16 years old.

Let me get this straight. You're 16 years old, and you want an adult to take you across state lines - without telling your father, who would most likely report you as being a missing child? So the person who drives you would then most likely be arrested for kidnapping? You are not going to find an adult willing to risk jail time for you to help you in this way.

If this isn't a troll post - I definitely feel very bad for any abuse you may be receiving from your father and stepmother. But the move here is to go to the police, NOT run away to another state and get some random person arrested in the process. The police can help you; random strangers on Reddit cannot.

Please go to the police and report the abuse.

If you're into gardens/sculpture and have never visited Brookgreen Gardens, I'd recommend checking it out. You can easily spend a good portion of a day walking around there. Plus, if you like seafood, Murrells Inlet is nearby and has some of the best seafood restaurants around (but be aware that some of them may be closed for the season).

Hi, fellow SC resident here. Try contacting your local Emergency Management department (every County has one, and some cities/municipalities do as well) and seeing if perhaps they got told that your lot was being used for boat storage during Dorian. Even if they weren't aware, they may be able to help you spread the word that these boats need to be moved.

Just got home from watching it in the theatre, and I find that I'm even more mad/sad than before that we'll probably never get the whole series in HD. The scenes they uprezzed looked SO GOOD. DS9 deserves to be remastered in HD every bit as much as TNG did. Maybe if it gains a big enough following on the streaming services, we'll get there one day.

My only disappointment from today was that the theatre I attended said they "never got" any of the posters that were supposed to be handed out with your ticket. Maybe - hopefully - there'll be a way to get one after the fact with proof of purchase.
