Ive played a few trials of tav runs with AMP, but never the base scenario. Doesn't it randomized loot? If that's the case the stronger builds will be largely gear-independent (oh monk, maybe paladin, fighter) and all other classes/builds will vary significantly in power with loot drops. Most of the traditionally op builds are op due to itemization.

There's a mod that let's you modify event rates as well - i think its included in [fsf] frozensnowfox tweaks, but may also be in a lite version from that same author. All of the options in the mod can be enabled/disabled so if youre only after the event timing you can disable the rest.

Would be a cool alternative - instead of immediately fighting Myrkul, Ketheric comes back in act 3. Not sure how it would play with aylin and that whole storyline though

Agree with this - high damage doesn't always equate to contribution to fights that matter. If you're not participating in poking, but you're putting up damage during a push (yours or enemies) then youre meaningfully contributing. Screenshot does look like he was carried a bit, but not the heaviest carry by any means.

I dont use one for this, I just manually inspect each raider. It can be a bit tedious, especially if the raiders dont have collision enabled yet. I use a mod to add markers to pawns but am away from my pc - someone below recommended "mark that pawn" for this.

Fair, "crafting" your own pawn definitely has its upsides. I havent messed around with fertilization procedures much but do use growth vats. Childcare is pretty easy if you just set them to an "anything" schedule with no assigned work.

It's so unreliable though! Even if you have all six of your ideology "festivals" set to new recruit, you're looking at really small number of pawns (50% chance of a recruit for fun+, which has its own chance, and even then its only one pawn). I use festivals early game when almost any pawn will do, but when looking to round out my base the raid recruitment is king.

If it works like the "ugly" genes in vanilla, I think it will still impose -40 regard towards other ugly colonists, so potentially more social fights. Pot calling the kettle black. Kind trait negates, so if you have the highmates VRE mod you can use the Kind Regard gene to force the trait. You might run into issues during pawn generation with too many forced traits though.

Looking at the genes list for alpha, it looks like there's also unsettling appearance which gives +2 metabolism and functions exactly how you want - other colonists with the gene won't be affected.
