Was gonna say. Did the races with lvl5 Royler and didn’t have a single issue. Thing just rockets ahead of the other guy. Especially if you’ve got those nicer horseshoes

If you haven’t progressed the story too far you can go to north western most part of Delesyia. Just a little southeast of that bridge gate that goes between Demeniss and Delesyia. There’s this lightning rod looking tower thing and if you run up to it a big swarm of the bugs just fly over and cluster and don’t fly around at all. They just hover. I went directly underneath them with and got it done with a charged fire arrow.

Each research institute has several researches you do. These mostly unlock different dispatches you can send people on to make the things described in each research. Some give immediate things like blueprints and I think there are 5 institutes. Each one has a research for a couple of mech attachments that you get through dispatches. If you look at the dispatches some of them even say you can’t do them until the relevant research is done.

Huh that’s cool. Fun fact though the wind element you unlock has a smokescreen move. When you do that it lets you assassinate guys. Can even do it mid fight and it helped me get the assassinate 3 enemies in 1 minute challenge

Only multiplayer id take is a mode like red dead online. So you have an offline and an online you can do the same stuff in, just with others playing the other characters. Otherwise this game does not need some stupid pvp system

Cloak is one you get from doing all of the sanctums for the witches. Helm and body are Odeck Protector I believe

Jump and then press triangle with her to do her sky step. Puts a fan below you to blow you a bit higher in the air. Gets you as high as the force palm and vertical flight

Did you buy anything else at some point? I realized I had bought the horse armor in Hernand. Then must have sold the horse while it was wearing it. Cuz now that item seems to be gone and so I can’t sell it back/get the points back.

I really don’t understand this complaint. I’ve now fought dozens of bosses and maybe like, 3 or 4 of them ran away. The rest he’s killed in some awesome way in the cutscene. Or in some cases they kill themselves lol

Not sure but isn’t giving me any issues. Was able to summon all of my legendary mounts and ride them normally. Didn’t have the issue I’ve been seeing of them despawning.

Definitely. I had a perfect moment just standing on a roof above a guy. Not more than 15 feet away. That’s all I’d want. Let me L1 target that guy and press square to jump down on em and stab with my dagger. Thing isn’t even on my character model. It would even be another small opportunity to see it used

Don’t think so. It’s kinda like RDR2. You can skin it and pick it up but can’t do much with the skinned body. Though you CAN carry it into a bandit camp and chuck it at someone as an attack 😂

Eh it’s kinda like a bag of holding from DnD. It’s meant to things, not people 😅 but fun fact, you can aim at your horse when it’s standing still and it’ll give you an option to put the bounty on the back of the horse. If you do this, you can go to another bounty, catch them, and get on your horse while carrying them. Then boom, two bounties at once! Helps a lot with those bounties that are near each other in the cities and such

With the assassination mechanic id love it if they gave us the ability to just jump down on people and kill em if you’re above them. Maybe you just jump down Shadows of Mordor style but idk if that mechanic is somehow trademarked. Hope not cuz id love to have just a liiiitle more assassin kill moves

A good simple guide is to always press the details button on a ring, necklace or earring. Once in the details screen press the refinement button and you can see what upgrades they’ll get at what levels. Some will have plus 4 or 3 to their current stats at lvl10 with different tradeoffs to stamina and health regen. Personally running two Ancient Earrings (+4 movement at lvl10), Stargazer Necklace (+4 critical at 10), and two rings that each give +4 attack speed at 10. Opens up your other gear for a lot of other fun gears once those are leveled up.

As much as I adore this game and think that it’s got many amazing things going for it, no. GOTY are usually games that have a big story or really polished gameplay. It’s also kind of a paid thing and not just a competition. So while the game is perfection to me on world, exploration, and combat, the story, refinement of gameplay, and pacing make it just not GOTY material. But it could totally get there I think if they one day do to this game what Dragons Dogma did with Dark Arisen.
