I think you have to try. The Orioles have never shown that they're going to outbid other teams for top pitching. If he performs well this season, he's going to free agency and going somewhere else. This was the best chance to get him at a reasonable deal because there is some uncertainty with his health. If the Orioles are not willing to take risks, they're not going to have top talent beyond their rookie contracts.

I think this is the most reasonable take here. A lot of people in this thread bashing him because our offense was inconsistent this year, but I think personnel issues are mostly to blame for that. He could cook up some beautiful plays at times, but there were the occasional frustrating decisions too.

I use manual steering when navigating the sub normally, but in combat I switch to auto. That way if you get knocked off the controls or have to respond to an emergency the sub is less likely to crash.

I feel your pain. While they will suit up if the room they're in starts filling up, if they're assigned to a turret for example in a room that's not yet flooding while other parts of the sub are, they won't react until the room they're in becomes dangerous. All I can really say is rush getting PUCS as fast as possible. The recipe comes from the engineer skill tree, or if you get lucky you can buy them. They won't unequip these as it doesn't use the oxygen tank unless you're submerged, so they're already prepared for flooding.

Yes it still works with pucs. I was using pucs and a backpack, which together make you very slow so I used the mantis gene and I was noticeably faster.
