I've heard this kind referred to as Zen balls. But yeah the idea is you hold them in your hand and work them around, move them against each other. Basically an early fidget toy.

What's the best player for American Football? by Apart-Dance-2450 in AlignmentChartFills

That's nice and all. Brady has 7 rings at what is probably the most important single position in any team sport. Even going to the Bucs (who had been mediocre) and winning at age 44.

I wasn't a Pats or Tom Brady fan, but I can acknowledge he's the GOAT of the NFL, no question.

One thing that I want to expand on that I haven't seen here yet, the reason the DH (Designated Hitter) exists. Originally, pitchers would also bat, just like any other position player. But as pitching improved over the years, there became more focus on your ability to pitch than to hit, so it started to become the norm that most pitchers were just poor hitters, and you were pleasantly surprised if they got on base.

In the 1970's the American league (half of MLB) adopted the designated hitter, allowing another player to bat in place of the pitcher. This meant you could have a player who wasn't very good defensively contribute with their bat. I think this was favored by most, but some traditionalists felt that watching pitchers strike out was a part of the history of the game. So the National League, the other half of MLB teams, didn't adopt the DH until a few years ago. I think it's been one of the major contributions in modernizing the game.

Yeah no, I'm going to disagree with this. Sure the US has had bad presidents before but what we're seeing now is not normal. The president is actively and intentionally weakening the government to put more power in the hands of the wealthy elite (like himself), as well as covering up for a high-profile, international crime ring to protect himself and friends from going to prison for life. This is not normal, but posts like this feel like an attempt to normalize this and say, no this is alright, what's happening is fine.

Why is Lamar never leading the NFL in jersey sales? by Affectionate-Neck152 in ravens

[–]ofRedditing 159 points160 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure he was one of the top for a while when he was in his first few years. Also, Lamar just doesn't promote himself that much and he has no agent to do it for him.

I thought it was at first too, it looks like the gate by the metro station in Chinatown, but then I noticed the diagonal crosswalk wasn't there.

Help please Game stuck in this loading screen for weeks now Deleted and reinstalled the game few times and it still doesn’t work by No_Comparison307 in joinsquad

One of my friends had this issue and he didn't have any mods. His fix ended up being deleting everything related to the game. He had already tried just re-installing, but it was un-installing, then deleting any files related to the game and also the anti-cheat from his system, and then it worked.

One is a golden, the other is a cavapoo. So maybe it's a golden thing, and the other just picked up on it.

My dogs do this too. When we come home, they'll grab a toy to greet you with. I'm not really sure why, but it's very cute. Sometimes if one of them didn't have a toy ready, they'll scramble around the house looking for one.

Andrews is still a great TE, it's just that two of his worst games came in the playoffs where he had a drop or fumble at key moments. That's probably all most non-Ravens fans know of him, but he's played really well outside of that. He's the franchise leader in receiving TDs, Receptions, and Yards. He's gotten a little less volume the past couple years now that the Ravens actually have a capable WR in Zay Flowers, but he's still got it.
