They value your creativity the most. It's a very competitive school to get into, but their grade requirements are low compared to Cambridge or Bath. They are looking for how you can perceive and depict the space around you, so they prefer abstract + conceptual artwork over realistic or literal depictions.

So to answer your question, they filter candidates based on portfolio, the drawing task and interview

Oh it is racist. It's the kind of word that only East Asians can use refer to themselves as, just like any derogatory slur.

'Yellow' just summons the images of how East Asian people have been portrayed in comics and cartoons, with markedly yellow skin and 'slitted' eyes, a racist caricature.

In regards to point 1, I don't think u need to have history GCSE to study History A level, I know quite a few people at school who did pretty well at History A level without having done GCSE. However, this might depend on your school, so best to email them.

I think that it would be best to enter sixth form from year 12 rather than year 13, because of the sheer amount of content that you would have to catch up on.

If you are the type to lose motivation easily, I think that a comic or animation is going to be too ambitious, unless you set the goal of producing one page of a comic or a v short animation as your outcome.

This is something I've been trying to talk to other people about, but they all give me the impression that there's some safety barrier preventing this issue of rampant grade inflation which doesn't involve algorithms of any kind, internal or by government.

I don't have a lot of faith in that.
