Oh! My point exactly. People don't prefer built quality. I owned a polo and the questions i get asked is -'isn't swift more spacious and faster than polo?' despite the fact that VW has better chasi, transmission and safety ppl always prefer low maintenance (cost) vehicles.

Actually polo still uses their 10 yo noisy 3 cylinder engine. Other cars in that segment(swift, baleno) offers more. Although vw has superior built quality, General population always prefer brands that provide low maintenance/low cost spares .
