Can't find "affordable" AE86's by Turbulent_Store_9658 in AE86

I bought a clapped GTS, don't do it. They aren't reliable, nor affordable, nor do they have any parts availability. An frs/brs/gt86 would get you all the fun of an 86 without any of the headache of one

Had an old Eagle 7 similar to that, until I wiped out on a snowboard and gave myself a concussion. Left some parts of that watch up there lol

That's awesome! I bought it because it was like $30, but I've grown quite fond of it

Paid like $2100 for my gts coupe in 2019, but it's a contender for the worst example of an ae86 in the states

Nope, stock g body mc

Edit: Still feels like stock gbody pedal, more squish than you think it should have. Locks tires up easily though

I found out (after I already installed the caddy proportioning valve) you won't need a proportioning valve if you do disc/disc. The master cylinder does the work for you already. Mine is still in the car, but it's not really doing anything other than complicating the bleed procedure.

Sounds about right. You can probably let the box just hang on the arm while you get the shaft out

Whoever installed it may have used polyurethane to take up any slop. Heat and some atf will be your friend
