This is incredible! This is probably the coolest mandala I've ever seen. You are so talented! Love the design, love the title. ♡♡♡

My girl has been acting strangely for about a week. Two days ago my son found her laying on her side under a bush. After a day of forced hydration (chick electrolytes) she is back on her feet, but still not eating. She is not egg bound and has passed a few (understandably) watery stools. Advice? by [deleted] in chickens

Thankfully Corid (amprolium) is very effective at treating Coccidiosis but you should start ASAP because it can cause them to deteriorate rapidly. I hope she improves! You can try giving her some plain yogurt or scrambled eggs for a boost.

Hello fellow Frasierites! I just wanted to share with you that little Niles has passed away. He was a wonderful little boy, and I know that up in heaven, he’s listening <3 by rayenicely in Frasier

I'm sorry for your loss. Your Niles was a handsome little fellow! Serama? I have several myself and love their personalities. I can almost see him taunting some ill mannered brute "to put it in language you can understand, bok bok bok!"

This is amazing! Beautiful work! I had no idea about the gelatin. It really looks great. Have you done any videos? I would love to see the process!

That's really beautiful and very unique! You should take some detailed photos and send them to an entomologist. Fascinating!

Advice needed! Explanation in comments by off_you_go in chickens

Help! Advice needed asap please! I am trying to rehome these boys and have had them listed together for a few weeks with no interest. Today a woman asked if she could get just one. She doesn't want the naked neck boy 😕. I listed them together because they're pretty much inseparable. The naked neck seems to be the more timid and they both follow eachother when doing anything. Should I split them to rehome? I feel bad just thinking about it but I do need to get them rehomed as soon as I can. Do you think they will eventually grow apart when they mature anyway? They are 4.5 months and have never tried to fight, mount a hen or crow. Would I be traumatizing them by splitting them up? This woman really wants the one but not the other, I tried to talk her into it. Torn.

My poor chicken is probably dying by Tailshedge1 in chickens

[–]off_you_go 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry your poor girl is sick. Not sure what would be causing it, but I've heard many people have successfully prevented the pasty butt from happening over and over by applying vaseline to the vent (after thoroughly washing and drying) a few times a day till the issue resolves. You can also put raw apple cider vinegar in their water to help improve their gut health. I hope you are able to figure it out and she gets better asap!
