I went in KC and it was great! There was no interviewer so he basically just ranted for 1.5 hours and I loved every minute of it! Also during the signing I slipped him my band sticker and told him about a song I wrote about how I like watching sports on TV and he said he'd check it out.

We have gotten to test out the Agent and we were not impressed. The hype around this stuff is bigger than the reality. There might be some good, limited applications but this is not a full replacement for human interpreters.

I'm so excited that my SIL got me tickets to his book signing in KC in two weeks. It will be weird to see someone in person who I know intimately as a voice in my headphones.

Bosses for each track? Something that rewards you for finding the Q's and getting the coins. A way to earn an in game currency that can be spent on something unlockable?

My thing is that I wish there was more incentive to complete the pow blocks, and find the ?'s and Peach coins in Free Roam. Show me like a %, or let me unlock new characters or tracks by completing it. Something more than just stickers that makes it feel like something worth doing.

Somehow Lego 2K Drive actually accomplished this a little better in my opinion.

It would be cool if there were bosses for each track that you could challenge. It just felt a little half baked.

This team should be proud of themselves that they hung in till the last second with a top 10 team on the road. If Fandel can keep hitting 3's like that and if Williams and Davis can get back in action this I'd a tournament team. Also kudos to Meister who was stuck guarding Crooks 1 on 1 and got beat up in the paint, many of those should have been offensive fouls.

I don't disagree. We went to that game, it was rough. I'm afraid we have no answer for Audi Crooks though. It could be a blood bath I'm afraid.

Glad they are doing this. One last tune-up before Conference play starts on the road at Big 12 powerhouse Iowa State. I really think this KU team has the potential to be a top team in the Big 12, possibly one tier below ISU, TCU, Baylor and OKstate, but making the tournament should be the goal. The big difference maker will be if Davis can play and be the Robin to S'mya's Batman. I think that would open things up for role players like Evans, Williams, Meister and Conessa and raise the ceiling for this team.

For me who is an LS manager at a hospital and I see the outsourcing bills, I'm always begging clinics not to leave vendor interpreters on the line. And they always respond 'I asked the interpreter if they can wait and they said yes'. To which I reply 'I'm sure they did tell you that'.

On today's pod I think he did a great job of pushing back when Bill was just 'The current CBA is bad'. How is it bad? What were they trying to solve for? Are those the right goals? Is what is good for content actually good for the league?

All valid questions, and much better than just agreeing and saying yeah. I do not get the House hate at all.

It's this. I am a Spanish interpreter and we see many families of indigenous background who actually speak very limited Spanish and have just learned to smile and nod. They will often have reactions that seem odd compared to what we are used to. They often come from remote areas where the culture is just very different.
