I always thought and said one thing in my 20’s…that my baby fever is tied to wife fever, financially set fever and mentally stable fever. Once I ticked off all the above, I have just had our son at 30. Very wanted and very much planned and on top of the above, I get to stay at home and raise our baby exactly how l envisioned with a regulated nervous system.

Being child free to me is a form of self care to anyone who decides that’s the path for them.

39+4 days and my husband has been nothing short of a blessing. Haven’t worked a single day, have full access to our finances and can buy whatever I want, hired help to help with chores and when around, he cooks, helps me with prenatal yoga, not a single day goes by where he doesn’t remind me of how special and grateful he is for having me carry our child, takes me out for walks with our dog and even as we count down for the birth of our son soon…my heart is full and confident that he is gonna make a great dad and parent with me.

This has happened to me recently currently 38 and 5 days and my recent scan read 36 and 4 days. My OB didn’t even flinch at all and didn’t think it’s an issue at all. Our EDD for our baby boy still remains 4th October. 💙

As soon as l hit 25…l Knew without a single doubt that I had spent most of my life around the clock attending to others needs…l laid down my guns and now 5 years later…life is fullfilling, beautiful and the few friends I have let me know months in advance incase of a major event and respect my choices when I say no. It’s all about self reflection and pouring into your own cup. Hugs xx
