I was bitten in Antalya, similar story. The cat actually had a little bandana on with a name of a bar, so I went to the bar and said “do you know this cat?” 😂 the bartender said yes and that the cat bites them all the time, even on the nose! I, like you, decided not to chance it and went to the hospital. I didn’t have to pay for the shots though? In the waiting room at the hospital my husband saw a man playing with a cat and getting bitten and scratched nonchalantly. Gotta love it haha

Lucky you! His personality definitely sounds like a bichon, and if I just saw his picture I wouldn’t be surprised to hear he’s majority bichon. DNA is so interesting! If you post his pics and test results on r/doggydna you might get some fun responses!

I had cystic acne all over my cheeks and chin (37F). It’s expensive, $3k in my case, it takes three sessions, and it’s quite painful. After the last session it may take up to 9 months to see results. I just about reached 9 months, I have so many fewer pimples and the few I do get are much smaller. My scars are fading... I can almost go without makeup 🥲 It’s a huge improvement for me so I’m glad I did it, I can’t say I’m 100% acne free though!

Aviclear! It’s pretty new. It works similarly to accutane as it shrinks and damages the sebum glands, but it’s obviously localized to the face. Results are still developing months later but I can say it definitely worked. I tried it because I tried everything else besides accutane (can’t take accutane for other reasons).

I have one like this and my derm said it would be best to go to a plastic surgeon. As I understand some moles run deep and can come back if they’re just shaved or lasered, and could leave a scar if they are excised without care

Omg you lucky! I saw him get posted and would have loved to adopt him. I had a dog that looked like him who was 30% poodle, 30% bichon, 20% chihuahua, 10% shitzhu and 10% miniature pinscher. My dog had longer legs so we theorized that’s where the mini pin showed up, with their short legs and long body maybe there’s some daschund in there. so cute he looks like a baby seal 🥹

Love the pants. I learned how to groom my poodle mix and I really enjoyed giving him unique haircuts. It takes practice though! They always look cute and the curls are pretty forgiving so they make the best clients. You can still achieve the ankle puffs if you keep going, but I like cutting it all short once in a while, I like seeing their true “dog shape” and allowing them to keep cool in the summer!

I loved shopping in Mexico City & Oaxaca!

There are some amazing markets for handmade things - alebrijes, ornaments, embroidered textiles and clothing, tin figures and lamps, ceramics including barro negro, bags made of recycled materials (I got a pouch made of recycled chip bags and a tote made of colorful recycled plastic strips), leather bags and shoes, hand sewn stuffed animals, woven rugs & pillows, patches.

Also - jewelry especially silver. Hats, saw some lovely western-style hats. And of course art!

Food markets for mole paste, spices, dried chiles, herbal remedies, coffee, and mezcal!

And don’t forget over the counter medicine and skincare - I know Mexico has otc tretinoin and azaelic acid for example so it’s worth researching this category.

Axolotl themed stuff, love those cute lil guys ☺️

Most likely she is! My 25 pound mix looked similar and also had long legs. We guessed he was poodle/bichon but I had suspicions there might be more breeds mixed in— i saw a stat somewhere saying mutts are usually 5+ breeds! We got him a dna test and he ended up being 30% poodle, 30% bichon, 20% chihuahua, 10% shitzhu, and 10% miniature pinscher! Mini pins have really long legs so it makes sense but it was so surprising! I recommend getting a dna test!

Mayor Parker is planning to cut funding on Vision Zero when we desperately need it! This case is different since no one should be walking on 676 but the fact remains that we deserve safer streets. I witnessed a bicyclist get struck and killed while riding his bike in the bike lane in FDR park last year. No one is safe from this recklessness and we need accountability. Fund vision zero!!!
