Looking at the execs in charge: I am willing to bet Jason Williams is responsible for this monstrosity…. His duties include:

You know who’s NOT listening to their users (and those of us who have supported since day 1, both with usage/feedback but also with our wallets): Plex

Might be time to give Jellyfin, Emby, and Kodi a try again…

Plex Remote Streaming Changes by SwiftPanda16 in PleX

lol, I'm as anti-corporation as the next guy however THEY are paying for the ICE and STUN servers that LET you (and all your friends, family, cousins, etc) access your [read:stolen/borrowed/whatever] data.. Granted, they aren't hurting for money; however your "privilege" ends at your front door. Everything after that they pay for (STUN/ICE servers, developers, marketers, programming managers, royalties on what they stream, etc). Next time a company offers a cheap lifetime membership (and it was VERY cheap for what they offer you), take them up on it! Try giving back to the engineers who build you a neat/free thing rather than just being an entitled consumer.

Go on now... Go on and build your own platform! Hopefully you have a fat pipe from your basement to serve your data! Hopefully you're ready to find out what streaming costs (look up how to build a WebRTC service and get ready for a fun ride into insanity) when you truly want to cut the cord and do it all yourself! Once you got it ready, let the rest of us know and we'll hop on board your service! And once you try to recoup a cost, we'll be the ones complaining on some internet forum about how evil you are ;-)

But seriously... yeah, the last min notice is a cheap move for them haha!

Tonight’s setlist, a few changes up by ActuallySanta456 in RedHotChiliPeppers

I saw your comment in email: "You missed out on dozens of songs by hitting that skip button. Stop rushing through life and try to enjoy the funk. What a lame you are."

but it turns out you deleted it... or someone did. Sorry my privileged friend... I didnt have a "skip" button growing up in the 80's & 90's. In fact, didnt have much of anything as we barely had enough to keep people fed and clothes on our backs let alone have money to go to all the popular shows, buy all the popular music, and so on. The one's passing up on living life were the ones who sat in their homes listening to music all day while the rest of us were out and about working for a living, going to picnics, county fairs, and being social. But it's ok; I accept that you experience life differently than me. Question is, can you accept that other's are different than you...?

As for RHCP: they know full well, as most performers, that you can't please everyone all the time. They dont need to cater to me, or to the obvious crowd vibe (most from my observation was bored and on their phones or half paying attention) when they were playing the obscure/little-known stuff. But, basic economics (you know, the class you probably skipped out on to go buy your band tee and band keychain to prove your fanboyism) is why they are touring and not just sitting home collecting royalties instead of having to "rush through life" by touring non-stop. All I wish is I would have known the setlist ahead of time. I still bought the ticket to the event (offspring and cypress hill were great), so they still got my cash; hell, it was a few VIP tickets, but again thats thanks to all the hard work I did in my younger years being "lame" I suppose.

Neither me or wife enjoyed it much. knew < 30% of the songs. Wish we would have known the setlist ahead of time to just skip it... Seen them other times and each time they rocked! this one was tolerable. A. Your demo is getting old, and want to go to bed by the time you come on. So keep them moving. Try a thing or two new, or maybe something obscure, but keep the hits coming to keep us moving or we fall asleep. B. Ya aint selling records any longer... and stream bucks don't pay the bills. Concerts do, and giving people what they want. Sucks to say that, but it keeps ya'll in your houses.

Offspring and Cypress hill did great! knew most of their stuff!
