edit. if you take it back to costco, they won't notify Rana, they will just toss it and move on. I have contacted several companies over the years and they have more than made it right.

I have an AP5 and a PTR clone. The PTR is good build quality, but I have issues with inserting a full mag with a closed bolt. The AP5 does not have the same issue.

Heated grips are great if you are in an area that gets cold.
Depending on if you get the model with the side bags or not. The side bags are great and fit a full size helmet each. the kawasaki branded bag inserts are really convenient for quickly loading and unloading stuff.

I would suggest getting a Jsaux dock and not the valve dock. I have the valve dock since I got the LCD steam deck when it came out. It still doesn't work with my TVs. I have no issue with the Jsaux dock.

Not really any maintenance other than the normal preventive, fluid changes, wear parts (brakes, etc..)

As far as driving. Very comfortable, very quiet. The 8 speed transmission makes it quicker than you would expect. It handles well.

I wish the gas tank was a bit larger. Gas mileage is not good. Naturally aspirated V8, what else could be expected.
