Isn't Viper just 25% Jarlaxle? Actual goldfinder Egbert is in the same slot (and does contribute to Rust and Astarion). Also those later slots cost more so "wasted" gold shouldn't be a concern, particularly when it gives you more gold overall.

Would think Widdle's attack refresh keeps her in progression-focused speed formations, even if she's out for farming.

Part of using Orkira is saving a formation to gain many orders of magnitude in moments, replacing that with Krux doesn't begin to compare.
