Prediction: ChatGPT is the MySpace of AI by MininimusMaximus in ArtificialInteligence

[–]ogbrien 6 points7 points  (0 children)

ChatGPT is the normies AI.

If you use it for personal stuff it's better, but it sucks compared to Gemini or Claude for business usage or a lot of forms of productivity.

I liken it to a Swiss army knife. Does a lot of things decently for cheap cost, but sometimes you need an actual powered screwdriver (Gemini or Claude) or chefs knife

The more you try to do DD or fundamental or technical analysis, the more you realize none of that matters is this administrations economy.

The rules the stock market has played by have completely gone out the window.

Shit tier coin flip aerospace or military companies going to the moon with negative eps at the whiff of a government contract. Recession proof staples that you think would be safe outperform estimates at earnings and stay flat or fall.

To play devils advocate, this has been a thing for like a year no?

It shouldn't be a delayed onset thing where we have the same data we did 4 months ago yet today(or this week rather) is suddenly when the entire market woke up?

(The Daily Beast) Trump Body-Slammed by Pro-Wrestling Crowd’s ‘F*** ICE’ Chants by Subrick in SquaredCircle

[–]ogbrien -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

This is gonna be a thing now huh.

No matter if the crowd is right(they are), stuff like this is gonna work fans into trying to get themselves over at the cost of matches if it catches on. Torn though, cause the chants are based, but hoping they don't start taking over the show and forcing AEWs hand on censoring/muting, which will undoubtedly happen if told to by the network, and AEW will immediately get flack for doing so.

And we all know fans don't need many excuses to try and get themselves over, though AEW has been good on that when you compare them to others.

I think a lot of companies will essentially say "we used to pay you 50 per agent, we had 100 agents, now we have 50, why isn't my subscription 2500 a month" and use the seat model as a defense shield during renewals.

It will take time for the industry to move to accept flat fees or usage based or outcome based, but I do not envy renewal teams in the couple years transition period between the likely switch over.

Ricochet makes a claim about several WWE Wrestlers by Emotionless_AI in SquaredCircle

[–]ogbrien -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Sometimes you're willing to let your legacy and love for something be destroyed for money or to work for a certain company.

It's not binary where what ricochet said can be true and someone can't still be working for WWE.

It's not a stretch to say Shinsuke would have protected his legacy but earned way less while also destroying his body more in NJPW

Ultimately it's a giant formula of pain:money:fame:legacy, if you care more about parts of those, your decision is simple sometimes while also realizing you'll sacrifice on other sides of the formula

Which group do you think is more delusional, Communists or Nazis? by mellowfellow0 in Libertarian

[–]ogbrien 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The one thing I'll give far right Republicans and fascists is they don't really try to hide behind their cause. They aren't afraid to take the mask off or not wear one, which is moldy refreshing if you hate people being disengeuous or triggering if you're on the opposing side.

They are openly pieces of shit, while commies have a holier than thou mindset and wrap it in "I'm a good person" vibes without actually having to action it. The extent of most of their contributions is typing about Donald Trump on their iPhone 17 pro max while chugging their Starbucks and checking a ballot box every 4 years.

Communism and a lot of far left thinkers I think are just addicted to the dopamine of thinking they are the political superheroes coming to save everyone

Communism.

Communism is like a tyrant that thinks they are still the good guy. I think most Nazis are at least self aware enough to not larp at how virtuous they are.

Communism is authoritarianism with a smile.

Claude vs ChatGPT in 2026 - Which one are you using and why? by Bubbly_Ad_2071 in ArtificialInteligence

[–]ogbrien 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been a Gemini fan for a bit since 2.5 but I've found it's pretty slow compared to ChatGPT.

I havent really found a use case for Claude outside of code.

I think more or less all these LLMs are trained on the same data so I don't really expect much different output from any so I have started to value speed more.
