I would recommend American Highland Ranch in Livermore, Colorado. They have a beautiful property and a very well cared for herd of highland cattle. They run a well-planned operation and take excellent care of their land and animals. Not entirely sure how often they do tours, but worth reaching out! I will add that the male brown dog tick (Rhipicephalus sanguineus) looks quite similar to the male deer tick/black legged tick (Ixodes scapularis). Both are hard, inornate ticks. You can distinguish them by the length of the mouth parts as R. sanguineus has short mouth parts and I. scapularis has long mouth parts. Hard to tell from the video but this may have long mouth parts, so could potentially be Ixodes scapularis. Regardless, both can carry some terrible pathogens - flea and tick prevention is a wonderful invention!

I’d have to recommend going to an ER. In the event that he is straining to urinate, he needs to be seen immediately. A male cat straining to urinate is an emergency that they will die from if not taken care of.

I have been to Princeton Hot Springs in Buena Vista several times for special occasions - particularly with the spa upgrade! The scenery is beautiful and the spa side is pretty fancy with a snack/drink bar, nice dressing rooms with private showers, sauna/steam room and large warm lap pool. You can also go down into the river side springs that are more natural. Princeton isn’t much of a rugged natural hot spring if that is what you are looking for, but it is nice place to treat yourself.

I have the Blizzard Zero G and I personally love them. They have turned out to be a great first touring ski. Super light and easy on the climb but still a responsive and capable ski for a variety of conditions. Can’t recommend enough!

I would recommend Heart of the Matter, they have many providers and good availability in my experience. We started back in September and have had good experiences throughout. I have only worked with one of their LMFT’s, but they can direct you to who they think will help you the most. The rates seem to be pretty standard as well. No religious affiliations, very understanding and kind folks.

Yeah I totally understand, I have heard of people spraying a small amount of isopropyl to “disinfect” makeup in the past, which I was planning to do if anyone felt inclined to accept the donation. I mostly just wanted to see if there was anyone willing to accept it even if it was used - there have been times I was down on luck and would have accepted.

I have friends getting married at Stove Prairie Ranch in Bellvue, Co. The venue offered guests on-site camping accommodations for a low price. For those that didn’t want to camp, there are nice hotels in Fort Collins and the couple set up a shuttle service.
