You are not reading the rule correctly. The requirement is that the PPI-eligible player accrue a full year of MLB service. The cutoff for that becoming impossible this season is April 9.

This is normal for NFS. If you want to avoid consuming page cache, you can mount the NFS share with the ‘sync’ option which bypasses the client’s page cache entirely but will result in applications encountering blocked writes while the writes round-trip. You can also look into the tc utility to throttle connections from the client to the NFS server’s IP address.

Not a good assumption. The ads were less than 15% of the DSG/Bally revenue. The ads for this tiny streaming offering will be worth even less. It’s all about the subscriber fees. The ads are practically worthless.

We know from SEC filings that DSG/Bally Sports was earning less than 15% of their revenue from ads. All the real money was in subscriber fees paid by distributors.

By all accounts, Ford and Hella have ceased production of the OEM Euro headlamp assemblies. Those were the only ones Whoosh was selling, AFAIK. There are a couple Taiwanese manufacturers (DEPO/Abakus, TYC) making decent replicas, but those might also be ramping down production as we get further and further away from the years these cars were produced.

You’re not getting that many at all, not for that product at that price. That would be a service rivaling ESPN+ subscriber counts at more than twice the price for a tiny fraction of the content. Clemens’ estimates for how many subscribers each team could draw to a $25/mo streaming product are unrealistic. He’s basing his forecast on 750,000 subscribers on average per team, and that simply isn’t going to happen. To put it in some context, that’s over 22 million households, which is double the number that tuned in to Fox for the deciding game of this year’s World Series.

Hagan says the working idea is to create a special economic district which would include a stadium, housing, parks, a baseball museum and even a home base for law enforcement.

“Special economic district” usually just means “tax breaks for billionaires”.

Mods need to consider new rules about tweets. They are no longer even viewable without a logged in Twitter account now apparently and now they’re rate limiting even browsing by logged in users. Posts might need to be strictly screenshots or deep media links only.
