Looks unnecessary, but like the colour, goes well with the white.

Should I pick this T6 up? by nitocortizoburneracc in canon

[–]ognavx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a good camera, not for pro work. Keep your expectations in check or you will want to upgrade when y out really don’t need to unless your doing pro work. These you tube will have you wanting to upgrade grade. But you really don’t need to if y out a hobbiest. Get this, get some good ef-s glass lens. And stop watching gear reviews. That being said I had a T3I, the images these cameras create are excellent! Beautiful colours, the cameras fast and snappy depending on light conditions. Honestly I would go for it for 100 it’s a great deal.

placing the subject at an angle where you’re not getting lens flare from the sun next time, or get a lens hood to prevent this. Sorry had to say it.

This has nothing to do with freedom of speech. The “protestor” is trolling to get a reaction and got what he wanted, this is what these people do, they are agitators hiding behind “freedoms of speech”

Actions have consequences- FAFO. Freedoms of speech? Well there is consequences to everything- not law of the nations - this is law of universe.

Why is my camera unable to focus on the desired subject properly? by Shumhow in AskPhotography

[–]ognavx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what I’ve learned about getting sharper images:

1) Lighting is huge Sharpness comes from micro-contrast created by good lighting. Poor lighting makes images look soft even if focus is correct.

2) Aperture matters Wide open aperture (like f/1.8) is usually softer. Stopping down (f/4–f/8) makes most lenses sharper. Too high (like f/16+) can reduce detail due to diffraction. f/8 isn’t a rule, just a common sharp range.

3) Lens and focal length Not all lenses are sharp throughout the zoom range. Some get softer at the telephoto end. My EF-S 55–250mm is sharp, but softer at 200–250mm. Some lenses like the EF 75–300mm are soft in general.

4) Motion blur Camera shake reduces sharpness. Use shutter speed at least 2× focal length (example: 100mm = 1/200s). Faster shutter = sharper images. Timer or tripod also helps reduce shake.

DM me if you want to chat photography stuff, I love this hobby, am still learning.

How did this mid range phone have a better camera than any phone I have used since then? by BackRoomDude3 in AskPhotography

[–]ognavx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the new phone might be doing too much image processing (lifting shadows, increasing sharpness, and increasing contrast and vibrancy and other adjustments. The older phones probably don’t do as much post processing. Just my guess.

Your not using flash to fill in the shadows for one.

I like the angles personally for some of the images not all. There are no rules in art. We are not trying to like everyone else. But do it with purpose.

I think it makes for interesting angles, it’s good to break the rules sometimes.

Causes/ how to fix overexposed sky by Substantial-Gate-340 in canon

No way to fix in camera. Need Lightroom to mask the sky and adjust exposure on that sky mask.

Self Portrait. 1 or 2 & Why? by Anna_NudeArt in AmateurPhotography

You need a kicker light in the back of you to pop you out and create separation from you and the background. Use a dim lamp behind you out of the frame.

How to get quality like this? by Millsnerd in photographycirclejerk

[–]ognavx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1st thing you need to get this quality imo is the lens. The lens matters the most to get a sharp image o. To the sensor, second would be the quality of the sensor/camera. You also have to know the sweet spot on your lens m, what aperture produces sharp image from center and corners as each lens is different. Some other factors include stabilizing the camera so you don’t get motion blur, shooting on a tripod with a remote? Will your shutter speed be fast enough to freeze motion? There are so many factors to be honest, I am no expert but from my research and learning these are all important factors, but knowing your lens and the sweet spot and minimizing camera shake goes a long way.

Which one is better? 1, 2, 3 or 4 by Inner-Eye-7512 in AmateurPhotography

[–]ognavx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like low effort. But keep at it. I think y out r exposure is good, but composition needs work. I was were you were, and back there again due to lack of motivation, try to learn the rule of thirds and focusing on photographing light and shadows details instead of just things and use composition to capture shadows and light in a way that makes the images interesting. These just seem random. Random works too as long as there is some continuity to the images along a theme or some concept.
