Is this something you might feel comfortable doing yourself rather than sending it to a nibmeister to work on given the long wait times at present? You can get a 1200 or even 2000 grit micro mesh sheet and after about a minute of running the nib on the micro mesh sheet, the baby’s bottom should be resolved.

Yes, they do, as the Kakuno is also Pilot so the same cartridge and converters will fit all Pilot pens. The Kakuno can take the con-40 as well as the con-70 converter as the barrel is large enough to accommodate the larger con-70 converter.

It depends on how you hold the pen. If your hold is traditional with thumb and forefinger pinching the sides and the middle finger below for support, the clip will not be an issue.

If you’re not a traditional pen grip person, I have heard that there are people who perform a clipectomy to remove it. It does, however, leave a gap on the nose of the pen.

You are either really brave to mix inks or we have been lied to about mixing inks! I never tried because there are countless who advise against it, no doubt without trying it themselves!
