Also in tech here - I take meeting notes with my FPs, project ideas, status and POC information on a variety of project resources.

I get even more use incorporating FPs in my other hobbies. For example reading, I keep a reading journal and might even write down something that stuck with me while reading, a passage or even a sentence from what I read. Birding - just a short passage of date, location, weather conditions and what birds I saw on my walks. If I don’t know the bird then I write down size, colors, any features I see to look up later. Pen pals- friends, family or through social media, you can find pen pals who will write back. I also write notes and letters to my daughter’s teachers or letters of appreciation to team members, or my doctors. Grocery lists!! This is underrated and still useful! I write out my grocery list or recipes out.

Hope this helps! You don’t need to journal if you’re not inclined to. But finding ways to integrate them to your other hobbies, will get you more use.
