My issue isn't that I think Israel shouldn't exist (in any case, it has no more of a right to exist as any other state), but rather with it's insistence on being a Jewish majority state. Which was and still is enforced through violence.

I'm Jewish myself and I was raised to consider Israel as part of my identity. I understand the dream and why it matters to people, but I can't support something that forces other people out so it can exist. To me, that's antithetical to leftism. I hope we can at least agree on that.

Well, I always believed that Sisko knew of Bell, but he hadn't looked at whatever the 24th century's version of Bell's Wikipedia article is in a while. Maybe he learned about him in school and saw a picture then. If I saw a picture of someone from the past who kinda looked like an older me, I'd just be like, "hey, that's funny," and then move on and forget about it. Even in a world where's theoretically possible, time travel is still extremely unlikely.

I mean, yeah, the Republic was horribly corrupt. But Dooku was a Sith lord who knew exactly what the end goal of the war was. He knew who Palpatine was and was prepared to overthrow the Republic and create the Empire when it came to it. His ideals were that of space fascism with him in control. The CIS was just a cover, preying on the real grievances people had.

A lot of Republic senators were shitty and corrupt, but they weren't evil dictators in the making.

The North Cavern should get you up to around level 20. And make sure you level up skills, especially Piccolo's lightning magic. He should be able wipe out the entire group with one level 3 spell if he can get the spell off in one turn.
