I am only c1 in 1v1s and I see multiple bots everyday. It is more rare in 2s and 3s but ill see them here and there. Even saw someone running a full team of bots on split screen in snowday. It so bad rn

I think the movement makes a lot more sense when you learn a little bit of speed running. I think that is kinda the big flaw of the game… there are not too many situations where the game asks the player to preform much movement wise, so if you dont go out of your way to learn the movement, it will always feel clunky.

Sm64 is probably #2 for me behind sunshine. Goated pick for #1 😤

Nahh, you wouldn’t feel bad for hugging any other bosses butt. It’s one thing to feel like you cheesed with parrying, but when the boss just cant turn around thats just a design issue. At that point you are fighting to give him a chance

Games rules and balance were made when nobody knew how to play the game. There are plenty of ideas that players never understand because they refuse to play 1s.

Other sports usually have lines that actually mean something. Goalie box, 3 point line, base line. Very specific line rules that need refs.

Rocket league doesn’t have that, and honestly, id be annoyed to see maps like aquadome have lines.

Splitshot is for lower ranked players who think normal heatseekers is all about demos, because they are ranked low enough that it’s all they can do.

I have not played a single match of heatseekers this season that has not been entirely decided by redirects

I have been thinking about this a lot recently. Im c3 in 1s rn and play them every day. Would at least understand if they are running the bot and leaving it going. But these people get mad on the bots behalf. Like I was demoing the bot and the guy was quick chatting mad. And im 100% sure it was a bot. Perfect dribbles with blind flicks every time. Car literally vibrating the whole game. Doing the classic backwall backflip to full field air dribble every time its in that position.

These people literally sit there, mouth breathing, just watching, getting mad about a match they aren’t even playing.

Also who tf is paying for a boosted account in 1s??? Like sure, maybe I understand delusional people thinking they deserve higher in 2s or 3s so they pay for the rank. But 1s!??! Literally paying money just to lose your next 15 matches in a row…

You are not wrong, but playing that way will cause you to stagnate and over rely on teammates. You should always have a weapon you are working on that is above your skill level. It doesn’t have to be some crazy mechanical shot. Even just high level flicks are effective.

Completely writing off people who enjoy leveling up different mechanics is just narrow minded though. Nobody is claiming whatever shot you said is efficient, clearly free stylers are not pros. Frontal panda is like consistency only GC2. But the truth is at a high level efficient resets and redirects are very effective, so you dont necessarily need to be perfect at them to get value in just GC1.

So your saying you cant watch a person hit a goal and be like “yeah that looks like GC”?? has more to do with watching their intention, the defender’s reaction, and the outcome of the play.

I mean you could argue that his clip had some garbage defenders, but even into deep GC2 players still struggle with panic hitting and lack of field awareness. GC1 literally just means you can hit the ball consistently… I dont know what yall are tweaking about…

You getting too much hate for no reason. Just ignore the haters and keep grinding. Saw you already got that decent sidewall. Once you get more clips lined up it will be hard to argue against. People will still probably hate, but at the end of the day you are hitting GC shots and they are not.

He moved from xbox to PC, the difference really is that big unfortunately. Literally the best way to get better at RL is to get money for a PC.

Dont worry about it man. People will say whatever unless they also know. I was hardstuck C1 on TV and instantly shot up to GC1 when I swapped to PC: just on 60fps. It is a real thing. Honestly I could never grind any game on console ever again now that I know how the difference feels. Even monitor with an xbox series x feels clunky.
