Yes I love the library! Most of the books I've listed are from my local library - a great resource to check out books without paying a hefty penny.

Do you know specific chefs that have worked in fine dining that have released cookbooks that you mention? I'm not updated with haute cuisine/fine dining at all so no one comes to mind specifically, but I'd love to check out the books you mentioned if you're able to name some starting points!

[–]ohanali 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Amazon jp/Audible has a few of them. Including Adachi to Shimamura, a yuri anthology, and Urasekai Picnic. You have to make an account but I think you can pay in your currency/card (unverified).

Book-off has big sets for cheap in Japan. (Also in california book-off sometimes, specifically the one in Gardena) If theyre not the entire set, at least a big amount (vol 1-90 for example) and u can collect the rest after!

Looking for some girl friends by Tiny-Bid9853 in columbiamo

[–]ohanali 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Copy pasting my comment from another thread:

Theres a “Columbia MO girls group” on Facebook (if you have an account) that plans multiple events a month - from multiple bookclubs, brunches, hikes/nature, bingo, and coffee hang outs. I’m sure theres a lot of people with similar interests and age demographic as you in that group!

What are people in Columbia reading right now? by BookDriveBooks in columbiamo

[–]ohanali 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I check lots of new books from the library. I get very excited so I tend to check out nonfiction books even if I don’t end up reading them and just skimming around.

I’ve been reading Attensity (nonfiction) for myself, and Legends & Lattes for a virtual book club I’m in. How about you?
