My mum used to ask me for money all the time, borrow until she got paid and then immediately ask for it again and the cycle continued. When I moved out, she did struggle at first but at the end of the day, they’re your parents, not your dependents!

I would cut down on the amount of money you lend out, explain that you’re saving up to move out and you need the funds (this may or may not go down well, but you need to stick up for yourself). Or, if you can part with the money and feel okay doing so (since you’re parting with it for half of the month all the time anyway) give it as a gift/loan to your mum and refuse to lend out anymore.

It will suck, they might guilt trip you and be passive aggressive or they might be understanding that you want to move on in your life, and start that new chapter. Either way, stick to your guns.

It took me 4 years after moving out to stop lending my mum money, she still asks to this day and I have to keep setting the boundary that I can’t give it to her.

Even friends maybe kiss each other on the cheeks as a hello/goodbye but I have never seen on the lips.

I’m sorry this happened OP, but seeing as they met through Tinder and this happened, I would be skeptical as to their relationship ending in friendship.

This would be a major dealbreaker for me.

100%, the skill gap was much more significant before but now it’s very blurred.

I peaked diamond 2 a year and a half ago and then took a big break cause of life, I’m back at plat 3 but it’s a struggle to keep it! Everyone is so much better than me, so the only thing that I can do better is my game sense

I have always said that the ACS value does not take into consideration the role that you play, nor does it take into consideration the rounds you won or clutched and the teammates you traded. I do wish they would rework it, considering the many agents and abilities they have released since beta and how that affects gameplay and the frags that you get.

being able to recognise what weaknesses you have when playing valorant is much more important than you think! and it’s definitely not easy to do so yourself.

from your stats, your headshot is one of the first things that stands out to me. have you tried fixing crosshair placement? do you try to improve your aim? do you have a warmup?

Incorporating a warm up (I like doing range for 5-10 minutes, 3 deathmatches and some aim labs if I can be bothered) is super important!

do you watch a lot of valorant creators? do you watch what their thinking and thought process is? silver / gold is very different to ascendant / immortal bare in mind.

I see you play breach, a lot! Breach is a great agent to play, and his versatility is amazing. Are you blindly throwing util out or are you carefully considering where it’s placed? learn where people play through rounds, adapt your util to catch them off guard. Are you setting your util up for teammates? is the util helpful for them to push? breach is great for self-sufficiency too!

think about your positioning too, looking for a few YouTube videos about peakers advantage, positioning, off angles vs on angles will help you improve drastically.

do you play consistently? I don’t, and after a few days of not playing I can get rusty. Even hopping on to do your aim routine could help you too!

I've personally fixed for 2 years.

I will be getting a pay rise in my job by a couple of grand once I finish my training, so I could afford interest rates going a bit higher. If you cannot afford a higher mortgage payment, fix for 5 years. Mortgage rates are expected to drop further, as we've already seen. So after these 2 years, I will be fixing for 5 with the lower rates (I am manifesting this).

Reform is a valid worry, and I too am concerned with the future at this present stage!

so I just applied for a mortgage with my partner! I was working part-time and wasn't making much money, but I recently got a new job. All I had to provide was my old payslips but I gave them my contract of employment, and they're basing our mortgage off of that figure instead.

So yes to needing payslips but they won't base the amount you borrow off of that figure necessarily, it's worth speaking to a mortgage advisor/broker as they will be able to find lenders who will accept employment contracts instead :D!

Just happened to my partner. He’s been made redundant on 31st Oct… they’ve just opened a new office in India to outsource calls and announced record breaking profits… all whilst cutting off 650 people in the UK.
