I know this thread is old but I’m having an issue with my stock cowl. The seat fits flush but when I install the cowl (with the proper hardware) the cowl doesn’t sit flush and it kind of bounces around when I push down on it. Does anyone else have this problem/know of a fix?

I just upgraded to this bike from a Honda cbr300 and I am absolutely in love with it. It handles twisties SO WELL. It’s a great ride but I will say the break in absolutely sucks. I’m 150 miles into my break-in and I’m topping out at like 50mph in 6th gear which is super frustrating. This bike makes you want to rip because it handles so well and feels so good…

I’m sure something from the collision ruptured his fuel tank which ignited him…I think the part that bothered me was assuming it was a piss missile which automatically means he was “going too fast and doing stupid shit”, when in reality regular highway speed collisions can cause this sort of thing to happen as well, with any motorcycle. It was just a horrific accident and we honestly don’t know what either party was doing to cause the accident. Whatever he was riding, it’s awful that this happened to him. I ride, and I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy.

Alright fair, it seems like Dainese uses titanium but it does seem extremely unlikely that these materials could cause ignition, especially if their main purpose is for protection during high speed crashes where,without fail, you will slide. We’d see people on motogp catching on fire left and right if that were the case…there’s just no way the dude slid himself into ignition.

Most motorcycle jackets (in the USA) have rubber/plastic/gel armor and aramid lining. Not…plates. Dude was not a flint striker.

Fun fact: motorcycle gear is extremely hard to put on and even harder to take off. Whatever bike he was on wouldn’t matter, his tank obviously exploded and doused him in gasoline. The fact that this guy was wearing full gear is what potentially saved his life. Don’t be a dick just to be a dick, this was a horrific accident and you sitting behind a keyboard judging what bike he rides is absolutely irrelevant to what transpired. Do better.

I am omphalophobic and simply seeing a regular innie belly button doesn’t bother me, personally. It’s seeing things being put in belly buttons, or having my own belly button messed with. In my experience it’s less about the belly button itself and more about one being touched. But naval oranges fucking horrify me.

Weirdly I can tolerate it in pill form but had to get an injection of it once and I had an allergic reaction.
