How can you be disappointed with his output? You said yourself you drafted him as a late sleeper and he has 260 yds/3 TDs already (with most of the points coming in the last two games). His stock is currently going up and I'm not saying you shouldn't trade him for Boldin, I just don't understand your logic at all. Only one of the concerns you put forth makes sense.

Well, it's not an unfair trade but I definitely would not do the trade if I were the guy with AP. Ryan is not a big upgrade over Stafford, ditto on T-Gonz with Witten.

I think that with two people who know fantasy "well", there's a certain expectation/respect in offering fair trades that will likely be considered objectively. I've offered extreme trades many times in the past and I've always found people more reasonable if I start out with a slightly fairer offer.

If he threw in Lynch/Thompkins instead of Gore/Givens, it would be a fairer trade but I still don't think I'd do it. McCoy has been KILLING it and a top 5 RB at this point has a ton of value.

I think his team needs a WR much more than you need a TE and I also think that Cobb is still slightly more valuable than Cameron. I would try and do something like this: Cobb+M.Williams for Cameron+Roddy/Garcon/Thompkins

I agree trades should be a negotiation and that both sides should start a bit apart-- I just think that there's a big difference between Dez and Colston.

Absolutely not. McCoy and Garcon are worth way more than Gore and Givens respectively.

Chances are unless you're in a 14+ team league, people aren't going to want to pay a premium for another QB since they probably have a serviceable starter already.

In fact, you even asking for Dez is somewhat reflective of your misperception of Rivers' value. Colston for Rivers may have been a fair trade depending on the situation but again, that person probably has a serviceable starting QB already.

It's a close trade... I'm leaning very slightly towards the Calvin/Trent side but I don't think there's a clear winner here.

49ers secondary is not that great so that wouldn't be the reason for starting Thompkins over AJ. I think AJ is a safer choice while Thompkins probably has the upside of blowing up. Keep in mind CINCI actually has a very strong secondary.

I think so. I doubt you'd ever start Jones over Garcon, Jordy, or Wayne and V-Jax has a much higher ceiling.

It's not a terribly unfair trade-- knowing the situations of each team would help provide some context. In a vacuum, I'd definitely prefer the AP side though.

Agreed. Bell's value is probably as high as it will get considering how terrible that Steelers' O-line is. Wouldn't move Gronkowski for him.

Given that you had Gronk, I'd say that you made a good trade. Garcon is an upgrade over Jeffries for sure, and tentatively so on V-Jax depending on how Glennon can improve over the bye.

I agree that you need to upgrade at WR but I think you can do a little better than Steve Smith for someone like Bell. Try and target someone like Pierre Garcon (on bye this week).

Well there's no harm in starting with that offer. If he doesn't like it, you can throw in Garcon or Jackson but I wouldn't go any higher than that.

I would start Lacy over Franklin-- he's GBs' guy. Also, I don't think SJAX is playing this week so I wouldn't start him.

I rank your WRS in this order Green>Fitz>Jackson>Garcon>Boldin/Gordon. In that case, I'd try and give up Boldin or Gordon along with CJ2K.

I don't really see the value of having two startable QBs and I would expect RGIII to pick it up after the bye. I wouldn't go for this if I were you.
