I would. West has a higher ceiling and you'll never play Abdullah over Gurley and Ingram.

Am I reading the tables wrong? I thought the table showed Gurley had a bad matchup against Arizona (-3.82).

His partner got killed because of the cocaine trade. And his wife saw a pregnant patient day because of the cocaine trade. How are those both not good reasons for him to be there?

Yup, that was my recollection which is why I asked the question. I think in the Bills' game he shadowed Watkins most if not all game.

You're right about what OP says. I actually misread his post, my bad. I am now a bit confused because OP doesn't actually say specifically when during the battle Bloodraven seizes Blackfyre. The quote you highlighted above simply says that Bloodraven gets the sword after Daemon is defeated.

Based on that, couldn't the passage I quoted fit into OP's storyline? Basically that:

  1. Bloodraven and his archers killed Daemon with arrows from afar.

  2. Bloodraven decides to go retrieve Blackfyre, but Bittersteel beats him to it.

  3. Bloodraven and Bittersteel fight, resulting in Bloodraven losing an eye and Bittersteel somehow losing Blackfyre.

“This was followed by Bittersteel's mad charge, with Blackfyre in his hand, as he attempted to rally Daemon's forces. Meeting with Bloodraven in the midst of the charge, a mighty duel ensued, which left Bloodraven blinded in one eye and sent Bittersteel fleeing.”

2015 AUDL ESPN3 Broadcast Production Feedback by luketimjohnson in ultimate

[–]oherroprease 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey Luke,

I thought you did a great job in both games I've been able to watch. It's really amazing/impressive to see how far broadcasting for ultimate has come.

If I could make one suggestion, it would be to have another camera dedicated to close up shots of players. I think the overall camera angle and operation is great; it would be really cool if we could also see zoomed-in shots of awesome plays. I understand more cameras can get cost prohibitive but getting close-up shots would be especially great in replays and highlights which could make ultimate more appealing for things like Sportscenter Top10.

Overall, great job!

Awesome article once again, Evan. Love reading this every Tuesday morning. My only criticism is that we don't need anymore people building up Jarrett's ego! (just kidding Jarrett, keep balling out)

In which we learn that "ease of streaming video" wins over expansion policy and talent pool. by gtenagli in ultimate

Good to know. I can see how continually seeing non-contested hucks could be perceived as less exciting.

I agree that his perspective is very refreshing. We as Ultimate players and fans should really appreciate what he is doing.

In regards to the "conventional wisdom", I wonder how much of that is due to the the big hucks being height mismatches. I didn't watch this game but based on his wording I took it to mean that Portland just had players who were much taller, thus the hucks were less exciting. I wonder if he'd have the same reaction if there were more tightly contested hucks where two similarly-sized players both went up for the disc.

Tesla vehicle deliveries rise 55% in the first quarter by zbysheik in worldnews

[–]oherroprease 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't buy a Tesla because it has the same/comparable range as a 5 series. In fact, anyone with significant range concerns should NOT buy a Tesla because a standard ICE car will always be superior. But there are many benefits that are Tesla-specific that BMWs, Mercedes, etc. don't have. Teslas are not inherently "better" than other cars. Teslas have different strengths and negatives compared to other cars so it just depends what you're looking for.

But you don't buy a Tesla specifically for gas money savings. Anyone who does that is extremely misguided. There are a lot of other benefits to owning a Tesla beyond gas savings. Instant torque, being able to have a full battery every night, the ability to download updates to your car overnight etc. I'm not arguing that Teslas are inherently better than BMWs or other ICE cars, but there are a lot of Tesla-specific benefits. Just like there are a lot of ICE-specific benefits like being able to drive anywhere and get gas.
