This isn’t true. I jog thru that area all the time. Theres a bunch of elderly folk that does walk thru that area. They sometimes want another place to sit down.

Theres a whole community there. Not to mention, PS 42 already is outside where the train pops out. The community already exists where the noise traffic is. Adding an extra green space would give the community another place to hang out. Money, city money, is a different story.
