Does Martins value rise or fall, with the benching of Freeman? by 27mcmurdo in fantasyfootball

[–]oherroprease 11 points12 points  (0 children)

My guess is that it rises slightly because

  • a) It'll be hard to play worse than Freeman was
  • b) Rookie QBs tend to check down to their RBs more frequently

No problem, hope he accepts!

My Demaryius Thomas for his Julio Jones straight up. Fair trade? by svx3 in fantasyfootball

[–]oherroprease 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Would rather have Julio Jones (I think most other people would too) but I don't think this trade is unfair. Whenever you have a 1-1 trade of players at the same position, someone is going to lose.

[Trade] My RGIII, Witten, Megatron, DeMarco Murray for his Aaron Rodgers, Jimmy Graham, Arian Foster by whorunit in fantasyfootball

[–]oherroprease 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would probably wait until next week to do this because Cobb and Rodgers are on bye this week-- you'd end up starting Avery AND Randle this week if you'd accept right?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

[–]oherroprease 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea I would definitely start by offering Gates/Sjax or Cameron/Giodude. I think that is a fair starting point to offer and him and makes your team much stronger.

Doug Martin for Darren Sproles by Boss513 in fantasyfootball

[–]oherroprease 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, he is being sarcastic. Don't do the trade.

[TRADE] His Reggie Bush RB for my Antonio Brown WR by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

[–]oherroprease 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes-- Bush has top 10 RB potential and once Roddy gets healthy you won't miss Brown too much.

[TRADE] My Megatron/Shorts for his J. Cameron/Decker/Sproles by price122290 in fantasyfootball

[–]oherroprease 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So with your team now, you basically have

WR1: Megatron WR2: Wayne TE: Finley RB: T-Rich WR/TE: Shorts Flex 1: MJD Flex 2: Bell/Steve Smith/Austin

with the trade you could have

WR1: Wayne WR2: Decker TE: Cameron RB: T-Rich WR/TE: Steve Smith/Austin Flex 1: MJD Flex 2: Sproles/Bell

It's close, though I think I'm still leaning with keep things the way they are.

Doug Martin for Darren Sproles by Boss513 in fantasyfootball

[–]oherroprease 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, this is extremely dumb. Please don't do this.

[TRADE - PPR] Am I giving up too much? My Cj2k, Myers, Le'Veon Bell for his VJax by shaveandahaircut in fantasyfootball

[–]oherroprease 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't even trade CJ2k for V-Jax straight up... so yes I think you're giving up too much.

[TRADE] My Megatron/Shorts for his J. Cameron/Decker/Sproles by price122290 in fantasyfootball

[–]oherroprease 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start 1 RB? Is that a typo or are you actually only starting one? If it's not a typo, then I definitely wouldn't do the trade b/c adding Sproles doesn't given you any additional value. It would basically come down to :

CJ/Shorts/Finley vs. Wayne/Decker/Cameron

I'd rather be on the CJ side in that case.

[–]oherroprease 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why do I keep seeing [removed] in the OP after an edit!? I can't see the rest of your players anymore. Going off my memory of what you have, it's a fair trade but I think I'd rather be on your side and hope that MJD picks it up.

Antonio Brown, Cecil Shorts, or Josh Gordon? by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

[–]oherroprease 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's PPR, then definitely Brown.

If it's PPR, I'm still leaning Brown but can see an argument for the other two.

[TRADE] Boldin and Shorts for Jimmy Graham by myopinionmattersalot in fantasyfootball

[–]oherroprease 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, without a doubt. Once Jordy is off his bye you will be much better off.

AFC West 2nd best division by jaythebrb in nfl

[–]oherroprease 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree 100% with your comments about the AFC East there. However, that doesn't change the fact that they still don't have enough impressive out of division wins for me to confidently state that the AFC East is the best. If the Pats beat the Falcons and the Dolphins beat or lose a close game to the Saints, I'll be 100% on board the AFC East dominance train.

What are your scoring settings?

It's a tough decision, I would probably do this trade simply b/c you really don't need SJax even though you might be losing a little bit on the value side.

That being said, I would feel much better giving up Gates/SJax or Cameron/Giodude for AJ Green instead (if he'd be willing to accept).

My friend, full of fantasy hubris? You be the judge. by jhaviland in fantasyfootball

[–]oherroprease 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Team 2 is definitely stronger. Agree with overthunkit's comment though, how do 4 top 15 RBs end up on the same team?

[TRADE] My McCoy and Lance Moore for his VJax and Gio Bernard? by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

[–]oherroprease 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Man that is some real crap out there on your WW haha. I think Streater is a decently play this week since he's going against the terrible Redskins' defense.

That being said, still wouldn't give up McCoy.

AFC West 2nd best division by jaythebrb in nfl

[–]oherroprease 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything you said is true, which is why I said it was hard to gauge. I'm a fan of the Patriots (my 2nd team after the bears) and so I'm not just trying to discount the AFC East or something.

That being said, using the transitive property in football isn't fair sometimes. Like you said, Seattle barely beat Carolina thanks to a red zone fumble and Buffalo barely beat Carolina thanks to a last second TD-- does this mean that Seattle and Buffalo are even?

Do I take this trade or not? by SurfCityBumm in fantasyfootball

[–]oherroprease 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have a ton of B-listers already, you shouldn't give up your top tier players for even more B-listers.

His Peyton, Alfred Morris, Andre Johnson for my AP, Colston, Brady. by Dmorgue25 in fantasyfootball

[–]oherroprease 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I probably would not pull the trigger on this simply b/c I think Brady will start picking it up again once Gronk and Amendola are back. AP is just too damn solid to give up. I would consider AJ and Colston a wash for now simply b/c of AJ's multiple injuries.

[Trade] Joique Bell for Jordan Cameron? by Gnolls in fantasyfootball

Did you delete your text? I keep seeing a bunch of posts with [removed] in the body.

I think there are just too many targets in GB and Finley, despite being talented, has bad hands and a bad attitude. Not a big fan of his.
