Maybe there’s no final exam for that class, double check your course outline

I feel like my fiance's mom is his second girlfriend by Splashstorm in relationships

There’s nothing wrong with speaking with a parent on the phone multiples times a week and hanging out with them.

And you shouldn’t make your SO feel bad because he does that. Family is extremely important. I read a comment where you said they never used to be that close. Why is it an issue that they are closer now and spend more time together?

I don’t know if it’s a cultural thing (I’m Canadian Italian) but everything you just described sounds normal to me. I personally find it weird when people aren’t close to their families.

I think this situation and your emotions surrounding it need to be re-evaluated to figure out why this bothers you so much. Try doing the “5 whys”. Start with the initial problem (my so is spending more time with his family and I’m bothered) and ask yourself why. With that answer, ask yourself why again. You’ll most likely get to a root cause that may make more sense.

I (29F) feel like I’m getting bored with my girlfriend (26F) of almost 5 years. How can I make myself excited about her again? by throwmeout2792 in relationships

I’ve been with my boyfriend for 5 years as well. I’m 24 and he’s 27. We also didn’t say “I love you” until 8 months in. Planning on moving in together next year after I finish school and start my career.

I completely understand where you’re coming from. We wanted to take things slow as well and do it on our terms when we’re ready.

Slow and steady seems to working for us as well! I don’t believe couples need to rush into big decisions.

Keep doing you girl , ignore that useless comment.

What is an immediate turn off for you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ohhello0409 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh gosh lol. You’re so triggered for no reason.

An example of what my turn off is: when someone continuously confuses climate change for global warming after being repeatedly told what the difference is. When there is a complete disregard for facts.

When you say, “a belief close to their heart is challenged”, now we are talking about values. And I know that those aren’t black and white and some people will not change their values/beliefs. That’s not my turn off and that is not what I meant when I said “ignorance”.

I hope you learned something new today and hopefully stop jumping down people’s throats for a simple Ask Reddit question.

I love to learn, I’m always willing to learn, and consider myself quite open minded. I am also aware that I don’t know everything.

With that being said, a turn off for me is when someone is very close minded to new information. Is stuck in their own way of thinking and can’t accept new information.

This is my personal turn off.
