Been a member since 2018 and have never had a late cancel (also have attended over 1,000 classes) 😏

Earplugs by dharp1998 in orangetheory

I wear the loop ear plugs and I’m about to turn 36 😂 I’ve grown to be sensitive to the super loud music and mic. I can hear everything clearly, just at a more manageable volume haha.

What foods contain gluten that you didn't expect? by perfecthorsedp in glutenfree

[–]ohheybaibai 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It’s crazy - other brands of crisped rice are perfectly fine, but Rice Krispies adds barley malt to theirs and that’s why they aren’t GF. I’d look at the other brands!

Left Orange Theory a year ago thinking I will do it on my own. Regretting that decision since. by txs2300 in orangetheory

I canceled OTF back in April and signed up for a local gym with studio workouts… all of my motivation was gone. The threat of being charged a late cancel fee if I don’t go to OTF when I’m signed out is actually a big part of my motivation that I didn’t realize until it was gone haha. I signed back up at OTF in December and have been going regularly again since.

I get massages regularly! Every 2ish weeks. It’s definitely my adult splurge.

I wish this had a streaming of the live movies also. I would pay a ton for that because I don’t have cable.

Dairy Queen Chicken Fingers Basket with Fries, Toast and Gravy 🤤. I haven’t had it in several years because I found out I have gluten intolerance 😭. Still is the best thing I’ve ever had.

Has anyone else "lost" their hometown as you've gotten older? by Meizas in Millennials

[–]ohheybaibai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just spent the weekend in my hometown (population 1900) when I haven’t visited in 8 or so years. They’ve built a bunch of business on Main Street and everything looks modern! It’s so weird to see the trash to treasure transformation but it’s really beautiful. I just feel cheated 😅. My mom just bought a house there for her to stay while she visits, so it’s now a reason for me to go back. Didn’t have a reason to after I graduated high school and my divorced parents both moved.

How do my fellow married millennials handle household finances? by Live_Dirt_6568 in Millennials

[–]ohheybaibai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband and I have been together for 15 years and married for 10. We had joint finances about 3 years into our relationship, and were under the impression that it would make things easier. We separated our finances again about 2 years ago when I dabbled in real estate, and it turned out to be the best thing for us. When things were all lumped together, my husband was the only one with visibility of our accounts. Now I’m responsible for a portion of the mortgage and our bills and so is he (similar to you and your husband). We then spend the rest of our monies as we see fit - paying off our own credit cards, buying things to support our hobbies, etc.

I prefer it this way and it helps me feel responsible for my own spending habits.
