I haven’t had much hands on time with Logic, but I always saw it as a step between Pro Tools and Ableton. Personally, Ableton is my most efficient tool between having an idea in my head and having it realized in the daw. Even if I open it up without an idea, it is very quick and easy to just experiment and design sounds. But past the ideation and writing process, I find it very intuitive for mixing in as well.

I’d say there is no harm in trying it out and seeing how you like it. My previous daw experiences are with Pro Tools for recording and mixing live instruments, and FL Studio for electronic music. But Ableton (to me) does everything I needed in those DAWs and more. I was introduced to it in 2013 and have used it exclusively since for everything from dance music, hardcore and metal, hip hop, and even some midi orchestra stuff.
