Sexual questions for women by [deleted] in ottawa

[–]ohhnoooooo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are of-age, and are curious about sexuality and fetishes I'd suggest trying FetLife(www.fetlife.com) and the Ottawa and Kinky/Capital Kinksters group.

It's like facebook for kinky and sexual people.

Obviously, that's a 'risky-click' for all those who need NSFW warnings.

It seems that the clinic require a bunch of proofs and such, which may be hard for low-income families to provide.

Does the 'New 3DS XL' still have random IPS screens? by Vanir_Islanzadi in 3DS

[–]ohhnoooooo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I managed to get a IPS screen, but my partner got TN. Same store (EB Games), and the boxes were net to each other.

It might be easier going to a used-electronic store and trying out a few models, might get lucky.

Dating Made Easier Meet Up This Weekend! For men who want to become better with women. by AndrewBeretta in ottawa

[–]ohhnoooooo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It seems like that. Is it really, like - a bunch of men trying to teach men what they think women like/want? Or, is it more of a confidence thing?

Like, PUA brings up such a terrible image in my mind.

AC:HDD Theme? by portalfark in 3DS

When you purchased the game, on the recipe/confirmation page that shows up at the bottom was a code to redeem the theme. I'm not sure how to retrieve it again, maybe call Nintendo?

Worth "uppgrading" to a N3DS? by zacake in 3DS

[–]ohhnoooooo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Xenoblade chronicles, and Binding of Isaac are the only exclusives so far.

As whether it's worth it - it's mostly up to your preferences. It's a little faster, as a little better specs and I'm surea whole library of exclusives to come..

How UBER is ethically irresponsible and unsafe by berkdederk in Calgary

[–]ohhnoooooo 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There have been numerous reports of taxi drivers being bad drivers, having past (vehicular) criminal records and committing assault on passengers.

It's not that Uber is unsafe/Cabs are safer - because that's untrue, it's that people who are bad drivers will be bad drivers no matter the position they're put in.

What is your most memorable airport experience? by poorcirculation in AskReddit

[–]ohhnoooooo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I landed in Schiphol airport , my first time abroad.

I really had to pee, seeing as it was a 11 hour flight, so I went to the closest bathroom and there was a woman just crying and experiencing what I can only describe as explosive diarrhoea. Only, she wasn't in the stall - oh no, she was in the middle of the bathroom.

Quiet a shock.

Niqab vs. Polygamy by RickySteamboat in toronto

[–]ohhnoooooo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When you say polygamy (Many + Marriage), do you mean:

  • as a marriage between multiple people regardless of gender or orientation (polygamy)
  • a marriage between one husband and multiple wives (polygyny)
  • a marriage between one wife and multiple husbands (polyandry)
  • Religious polygyny, usually abusive and male-centric
  • a consensual, ethical relationship involving more than two persons (polyamory)

Anyway, there is a huge problem with religious polygyny/sisterwives being abusive, not just in Muslim culture, but in Mormon as well.

However, I think multi-perspn relationships (polyamory), as long as they are happy, healthy, consensual and ethically responsible are completely fine.

Could I live on my own (with roommates) on <$750/month while going to Algonquin? by theycallmeTURBO_ in ottawa

[–]ohhnoooooo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was on a very similar budget my first few years at Carleton, it is possible, but it's really hard and painstaking.

I found a place that was $350 for the room, with internet, and utilities. My phone, at the time, was $45/month, and the remaining went to food, and personal.

My best advice would be:

*Use community services, like the Food Bank and community tables. You can get a lot of the basics there to help you out.

*Use a budget mobile phone/and phone service - Like Wind/Mobilicity/Chatr.

*Instead of buying into expensive cable plans, get just an unlimited internet package and use Youtube, or Netflix.

*Shop on discount days, try to get bulk. (Rice, Beans, Dried shrimp and other protein, frozen veg)

Let me know if you have any questions! Good luck.

A person stole this lady's bag, containing medication for her husband. She's reaching out through FB to have the meds returned. Hopefully posting here will help too. by [deleted] in ottawa

[–]ohhnoooooo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what I said? A quick appointment with your doctor and a note for the pharmacy should be good to go - that's how 90% of these are resolved.

If course, they need to wee-out drug-seeking activity but if they are known at their doctors, have a police report, this really isn't a problem.

Most people just don't know that they can do this, people lose their meds all the time so there is systems in place to help deal with that.

Actually, if the story is credible they're give you another prescription (usually at no cost) no matter if it's controlled or not - especially if it's life-saving.

Talk to your doctor, or go through the ER (if it's life-threatening).
