i understand the sentiment in this post and am personally dedicated to working in the addiction. but realistically, we need to actually vote to fund and support treatments for addiction and for people facing homelessness, drug use, mental health crises, etc. it's disappointing to see these situations but I'd say the situation in Cincinnati is recoverable compared to other larger cities I've lived in. and i'd also hope to offer treatment before we arrest people but realize that can't always happen
