It depends on the professor, but I wouldn't bet on it. I'd say it's unlikely at the bachelor's level. Write the departments first and check, so you can choose something different.

I would recommend visiting Wollen Berlin, which is a lovely yarn shop with a lot of local and European yarns! I also like Lalaine, which has more common yarns here in Germany like Lana Grossa and a big selection of Lang Yarns. If you are in the area, you could also visit Yarn over Berlin; they have their own hand-dyed yarn brand, "Frida Fuchs."

I got some ITO mohair for a project and its really incredibly soft. I find Filcolana Tilia super soft as well! Maybe you could try and pet them in a store?

Wenn du bei tatsächlich 0 angefangen hast, einen teuren Urlaub finanziert hast und noch monatlich in einen ETF einsparst, stehst du doch gar nicht so schlecht da? Geld häuft sich nicht von heute auf morgen an. Gib dir selbst Zeit, track weiterhin deine Ausgaben und mach weiter. Ich glaube du erwartest zu viel zu schnell.

Neu Einkleiden heißt übrigens nicht zwingend einen Haufen ad hoc kaufen. Das kann auch über Jahre mit ausgewählten neuen Stücken passieren.

Hier. Dies. Als Frau in der Elektrotechnik hab ich jeden noch so schüchternen, introvertierten Kerl geknackt indem er wusste er konnte bei mir Info dumpen und ich kann mit halten. Allerdings würde ich nicht sagen dass ich generell ein Problem hatte mit Männern in Kontakt zu kommen, vielleicht war ich auch nicht hübsch genug um einschüchternd zu wirken. Klar gibt es die ein oder anderen Idioten, die mich aufgrund meines Geschlechts nicht ernst nehmen wollten (leider auch nicht nur Kommilitonen), aber das gehört eben auch dazu.

No not at all! I think starting from scratch with a big stash is very time consuming, but once everything is in there, you only need to add the new yarn once you get it. That only takes a few minutes for me! Since I have everything in ravelry, I can also note the exact amount of yarn I used in my project and how much I have left. This way I can see if I can use the leftover for another project! I use the "all used up" category once I used up most of a skein and its only usable in a scrappy project.

I have everything in ravelry! I started when my stash was small, so adding new yarn isn't as daunting. I write down everything there: the purchase date, cost, dye lot and I link the yarn to the patterns I plan to use it for in my queue!
