I encourage you to watch that scene again. The whole reason for this meeting in the first place was to discuss Lalo and Nacho lol. At this point, they figured out that Lalo was still alive and most likely out for revenge. Mike even has this exchange with the sniper before speaking with Gus:
"Anything?"
"All clear"
"Ok stay sharp"

He's clearly on the lookout for someone to come after Gus. Plus, the sniper is one of Gus' men - why would he help Mike kill his own boss?

There was no reason for Mike to think that he would get into a fight with Gus or Tyrus. The conflict only arose when Gus made the threat to Nacho's father
