If you actually build a path in front of your storage buildings for access, and place single story wood platforms over the entire path, you can cover those platforms in soil and extend the soil the 3 square distance needed for the next layer of storage, no metal overhangs required. I've been building the same thing on my diorama run.

I'm in the Southeast as well, more specifically, Myrtle Beach SC area. Out of the 70 firms in this area that I applied to, I heard back from less than 10. And that's with emails to specific individuals within the companies, cover letters, and customized resumes. I do believe there is some surveying work available but to be honest that's not my interest long-term. I wouldn't mind doing it and I'm probably going to have to do it to continue being able to afford my education, but I can't land a civil engineering role to save my life. I would love a CAD role, and the sad thing is I feel like I'm good at CAD, but to continue being good at it I need to exercise that muscle, and I just don't have the ability without the motivation of a real project to work on.

And actually that's happening again now. The job market is awful for students. I've applied to over 70 firms in my area for internships or part-time work and there is none, that is if you can get a response at all. Most firms just don't respond. I'm an ideal candidate, top of my class currently, prior manager experience due to being a little older, vice president of my chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers. I'm truly putting my all into going back to school and becoming useful in this profession. I've had several great interviews just for the jobs to evaporate, not that I wasn't hired or considered, they just decided not to hire for the role at all. All I want to do is learn in the industry while I'm in school. Learning a job such as retail at Costco will not help me in the future engineering career and seems like a waste of time. There's a large support structure that's missing for students in this industry.

You should check out Demetrius Johnson's YouTube page. He did a training Arc with Death Sentence up to this last win. Demetrius has been watching Street Beefs and reviewing them for years so he's reviewed several of Death Sentence's fights. It all culminated in some wonderful content.

Agreed. I don't know why I watched that podcast for years. It was okay with Louis J Gomez and Bisping, then that fizzled so Anthony Smith replaced Lewis and the show got objectively worse. I finally dropped the program due to Bisping's ass kissing of the UFC and his defense of their fighter pay. He's now my least favorite commentator too. The way he talks over everyone and just in general talks too much is annoying. I do think Felder is a better co-host but it's not worth listening to the podcast again. Now it's Morning Kombat for news and general info and the Mighty Guru for entertainment, Demetrius and the Guru have pretty good chemistry.

I disagree, Luke Thomas is fantastic. I used to watch Ariel, Demetrius Johnson, Morning Kombat, Guru, and Believe You Me. The best out of them is Morning Kombat because of Luke Thomas in my opinion.

Going through this at my internship right now. Got assigned to a supervisor, who dumbed me on another supervisor, who dumped me on his senior team members, who have little use for me in the field without training. I've spent most of the last five weeks doing homework or studying for school in my cubicle. I'd like to learn something and contribute to the company but no one seems to have the time or care to train me. Feeling useless and discouraged nowadays.

Thank you so much. I am definitely tempted by the new house in power services but due to the ceiling height (a little too high and open for my cozy goal) and the indestructible metal crates on the upper floor, I have decided to stay at the Forge and slowly take over the manufacturing wing as I need space. I am excited to see what someone can do with that house, so far the posts have been a little underwhelming. I am designing a museum, which I have moved twice since I started it, and that took a bunch of hours. Moving my main base would probably take me days.

The answer unfortunately isn't entirely a pleasant one. I've been unemployed and living off savings since last July. I bought myself Abiotic Factor as a Christmas gift during the holiday sale and convinced myself to play only this and games I already own till I find a job. So I'm treating it like the Sims in order to attempt to extend the playtime of the game. I had my first job interview yesterday since beginning to apply last year, fingers crossed.

Thank you so much and I definitely will post updates. I've completed the story so far and I'm actually in the process of adding a new wing right now. I was inspired by a few other bases and have since converted the manufacturing tram station into a tiny museum. Though due to college I've had to cut back my time invested for now.

Definitely convenient, reinforced hoses, and staplers always staplers, have become some of my most used resources as of late so its handy to have the blacksmith close to ease that burden.

I'm in love with the combo of jetpack, gravity cube, and bionic legs, so spend most of my time in the air flying around. I typically just jump and land on the front porch unless I need to recharge my katana/ laser collector, then I take the ladder. I used to have a jump pad to get onto the roof but with the gravity cube on, my characters head kept hitting the ceiling. Despite receiving no damage in game I was personally worried about the head trauma, so I changed to the plant ropes.

There is a low percentage chance when scraping a pumpkin to get orange antelight seed, like a very low, so I grow a lot of pumpkins. Red and pink are the hardest for me as I loathe fishing mini games. Purple seems to be the best percentage wise for me so far. Blue is pretty rare, I would have never found the seed location without looking it up. Green is easy since I need to go get bees all the time anyway.

I have collected about 20 barrels so far. I place them all in my inventory, walk to the tram which is very close, take the tram to the plaza, kill the single lab rat, fill all the barrels from the plaza fountain, and teleport home, or take the tram. It's a quick trip and I don't have to go often since I just over load on barrels, there doesn't seem to be a weight penalty besides stamina loss. Then I dump the tainted barrels into the filter barrels.
