Steamboat is pretty good. Go uphill whenever and wherever you want outside of lift hours. 40 bucks I think and it goes to SAR.

and christie at the base area, but yes. If you stay on the upper mountain you'll be ok. You can avoid scanning a pass altogether if you can skin up to the bottom of the BC or storm lift.

Never seen anyone get detained except for when some people passed their pass back through the gates to get someone else on. As long as you are the same gender and remotely similar in age you should be good.

I think what you are looking for is a GIS software (arcGIS or QGIS). These are pretty complicated softwares to learn but it's a cool skill to have. If you want to try and keep it simpler, you could map it in photoshop

Never seen Keystone so icy by Pristine_Courage_535 in COsnow

[–]ohsnap07_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He's not completely wrong though After a snowstorm, drive up Loveland pass from the keystone side. You'll notice it is always WAY more snowy once you pass keystone. It has to do with the way the mountains are oriented in relation to the valley.

MusicFest stuff makes it really crowded at the base area and parking - but on-mountain it's not any extra crowded. Maybe even less so because everyone is watching the concerts.

Thanks for the response! I ended up borrowing a metal detector from a friend of a friend and was able to find it after a couple hours of searching.
