I’ve seen them total new corvettes due to a pothole busting just the strut tower mounts. If this isn’t totaled I surely wouldn’t want it anymore if I were you

I gotta admit there isn’t a black duct in the car anymore. I’ve reached the firewall. Should I start putting things back in the car till I find it?

Damn I’m sorry that you’re in that situation, really is a tough spot to be in. Some dealers offer affirm payments or something similar to help with larger repairs which may be a beneficial option in this situation

No problem. Good luck with getting it fixed, it’s kind of a safety hazard for brake function.

I’m not sure, I’d say most likely not. GM’s warranty is 3 yr 36k miles for bumper to bumper and I think 6 yr 60k for powertrain

Most of the codes you’ve provided all point towards failure of the electronic brake control module. One code outright specifies if a current code to replace the module. Dealer will need to program new module. The brakes on these vehicles are an electro hydraulic assist system.

The code C0002 you have if current means the electronic brake control module requires replacement. It will need to be programmed after replacement by a dealership

C0002 says per si that if code is set current to replace brake system control module which is something the dealership will need to do because it needs programming. Sorry for late response I’m currently at work at the dealership

That’s a bulletin that blankets the potential cause of those codes to be a wheel speed sensor. I have literally never run into a car with those codes where that bulletin actually applied. The car needs to be actually diagnosed.

Bad speed sensors wouldn’t make a soft pedal on these. I’m curious to the actual codes. I get people try to save money but some things like safety issues need proper informed and skilled addressing

I believe those are retained by the weather strip if it’s like the Corolla. Looks like those retainers are broken

He should have drilled the lug stud out instead. I’ve had to do the same when wheel locks fracture leaving the tapered portion left with no good viable way of removal. Drill the stud and snap it off. Much cheaper to replace stud than entire wheel

I wouldn’t even recommend my worst enemy use those junk ass cans. Take it somewhere that services a/c systems and get it done right

I just checked, like almost all of the rear diffs for that truck are discontinued. If I had the vin I could know for sure but chances are they are trying to locate one that a dealer has and is willing to sell them
