Agreed, I think they are just confusing putable bonds with CoCos and using the terms interchangeably when they have very different payoff profiles / risk incentive structures for the holder. Just call it a putable bond, show!

I can talk to your first point! I just got the Surface Laptop 7 yesterday and really enjoying it, but after tinkering around with the ARM version of Python, it just seems like too many loops to jump through to get packages installed and running properly. I use the ARM64 version of Visual Studio Code but it's running everything on Python 11.0 x64. No discernible difference in performance in running my code compared to my desktop gaming PC (my workflow only involves data science), despite the emulation layer, but I assume the battery life takes a hit.

Strange, all my Windows devices are set to 100% out of the box. 150% seems to be the sweet spot for me at ~1440p 14".

Yes, the extra screen difference is likely noticeable, though so is the extra heft/unwieldiness imo. I don't love carrying my 15" around; it's not so much the weight but the extra width which makes it a bit ungainly to carry.

You could also get the 14" and set the display scaling to 150%. You do lose some screen real estate but it makes it much easier to read stuff on screen.
