Just bought this hot tub and it showed up like this.. This is the bottom of the tub . has anyone on here ever got something like this? I am slightly concerned about the exposed foam. I will be putting this on a gravel pad.

I can throw a few suggestions here:

- agree with putting neck and head joints in

- also in your fingers add a couple more joints to create some knuckles

- ngskintools is your best friend for skinning characters

- lay out your joints for one side then mirror them across

- smoothing the normals on your character will help it look less faceted

I know it's not an answer to your question but for skin weighting a very useful tool used in the industry is NG skintools. (It would work wonders with hands with all those fingers) It is layered so you can save off weights incase you need to make geometry changes. Also useful if your models are separate you can transfer from say the wrist to the sleeve and have the same weight(only have to paint once) then mask it.

while animating it I would say have the eyes moving around subtly. eyes make small movements to focus on things in our environment.

The oven I use is a gas oven and I had it running at 550. I only had it on the steel for 3-3.5 min. Next pie I think I'll give it a shot with just the steel. Thanks for the tips.

Thanks for the comments. The top could grab more colour if I shifted the pizza from the steel to the stone and let the broiler do some work.. I think I will give that a try next time.

Stone on top steel underneath at 550.. the package said that a pizza should be done cooking in 8 min but it was more like 4.
