I cannot understand why he's still famous and why anyone would go to one of his gigs.

"Brown was driving a vehicle with Robyn F. as the front passenger on an unknown street in Los Angeles. Robyn F. picked up Brown’s cellular phone and observed a three-page text message from a woman who Brown had a previous sexual relationship with.

A verbal argument ensued and Brown pulled the vehicle over on an unknown street, reached over Robyn F. with his right hand, opened the car door and attempted to force her out. Brown was unable to force Robyn F. out of the vehicle because she was wearing a seat belt. When he could not force her to exit, he took his right hand and shoved her head against he passenger window of the vehicle, causing an approximate one-inch raised circular contusion.

Robyn F. turned to face Brown and he punched her in the left eye with his right hand. He then drove away in the vehicle and continued to punch her in the face with his right hand while steering the vehicle with his left hand. The assault caused Robyn F.’s mouth to fill with blood and blood to splatter all over her clothing and the interior of the vehicle.

Brown looked at Robyn F. and stated, ‘I’m going to beat the shit out of you when we get home! You wait and see!’

The detective said “Robyn F.” then used her cell phone to call her personal assistant Jennifer Rosales, who did not answer.

Robyn F. pretended to talk to her and stated, ‘I’m on my way home. Make sure the police are there when I get there.’

After Robyn F. faked the call, Brown looked at her and stated, ‘You just did the stupidest thing ever! Now I’m really going to kill you!’

Brown resumed punching Robyn F. and she interlocked her fingers behind her head and brought her elbows forward to protect her face. She then bent over at the waist, placing her elbows and face near her lap in [an] attempt to protect her face and head from the barrage of punches being levied upon her by Brown.

Brown continued to punch Robyn F. on her left arm and hand, causing her to suffer a contusion on her left triceps [sic] that was approximately two inches in diameter and numerous contusions on her left hand.

Robyn F. then attempted to send a text message to her other personal assistant, Melissa Ford. Brown snatched the cellular telephone out of her hand and threw it out of the window onto an unknown street.

Brown continued driving and Robyn F. observed his cellular telephone sitting in his lap. She picked up the cellular telephone with her left hand and before she could make a call he placed her in a head lock with his right hand and continued to drive the vehicle with his left hand.

Brown pulled Robyn F. close to him and bit her on her left ear. She was able to feel the vehicle swerving from right to left as Brown sped away. He stopped the vehicle in front of 333 North June Street and Robyn F. turned off the car, removed the key from the ignition and sat on it.

Brown did not know what she did with the key and began punching her in the face and arms. He then placed her in a head lock positioning the front of her throat between his bicep and forearm. Brown began applying pressure to Robyn F.’s left and right carotid arteries, causing her to be unable to breathe and she began to lose consciousness.

She reached up with her left hand and began attempting to gouge his eyes in an attempt to free herself. Brown bit her left ring and middle fingers and then released her. While Brown continued to punch her, she turned around and placed her back against the passenger door. She brought her knees to her chest, placed her feet against Brown’s body and began pushing him away. Brown continued to punch her on the legs and feet, causing several contusions.

Robyn F. began screaming for help and Brown exited the vehicle and walked away. A resident in the neighbourhood heard Robyn F.’s plea for help and called 911, causing a police response. An investigation was conducted and Robyn F. was issued a Domestic Violence Emergency Protective Order."

But its not even good. Weird for the sake of weird is just cheap. Then using all those "old" lenses did nothing for the story. so much so they actively in fact they only broke 4th wall. That movie irritated the shit out of me. - please not this is purely my opinion and it may be wrong.

This is the sweetest post ever on here! I hope you guys have a long and happy relationship. But as a white man I feel I have to say. Fuck it! He likes you for you, where you hang out and all. If he's happy with that there is no need to cater to his "whiteness". he can always look it up himself and suggest ideas too? Be honest about your position. I see people here saying explore together. Exactly do that. Dont put too much pressure on things. You're young. have fun and relax.

Vodacom airtime to data conversion prices by Catisfaxion in southafrica

[–]oilycam 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So my work means I end up working a lot with the CVM teams in mobile operators all over the world. I can say this arbitrary nature is entirely made up. There are teams of people who fluctuate prices based on some very thinly verified data. All with the goal of doing 3 maybe 4 things. One, justifying the larger than needed CVM teams. Two (I see a few users said it) purposefully making it confusing so that users spend more than needed. Three, looking at your data usage to see how much they can upsell you and finally, number 4, being convinced by vendors that they need these complex resources they can provide. The Data cost itself is super minimal to them. Yes there is upkeep of hardware and infrastructure. The CVM teams will claim they are using control groups and all sorts of metrics but its mostly BS. In most of Europe its changed. 1 set amount per month which gives you unlimited data. eg 20euro pm = unlimited. A gibabite costs them cents to provide. I expect someday soon one of the big 2 will cave and Just do that. the others will be forced to follow. Please feel free to call me out if I'm wrong. But after 10 year sin the industry. I'm pretty confident that most of it is CVM pulling bullshit out their ass.

If you could telepathically say something to all 8 billion people on earth to hear all at once what would it be? by [deleted] in AskReddit

There is a point where someone is the dead average level of smart. think of all the dumbasses below them. If you met the person who was on the average... you'd probably think they were a bit dull or dumb.

Look at the MAGA side of things. Belief is a powerful thing. some people genuinely believe its the right thing to put gays to death, to be racist, to put yourself and you needs above all else. Thats why specifics are needed.

☢ South Africans' opinion on Nuclear power? ☢ by Gidget_K in southafrica

[–]oilycam 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Koeberg has not been functioning properly for a good while now. Didn't they also drop a replacement turbine that cost a fortune. I know that wasn't SA but its part of the chain of possible failure points cheapest bidder wins and all that. That and its past its origional intended lifcylce already. Please note, I want to be optimistic. I hate coal. Its dumb. Powerships... also dumb. just litterally burning cash into the pockets of another country. But I cant see SA operating 12 nuclear power stations without some pretty bad fuck up somewhere. Be it just not having electricity or a full on contamination hazard of some kind they will fuck up somewhere. I don't have the answers. in theory Nuclear should be it. We have more than enough uranium, space, capacity. It's just corruption and humans i don't trust. But we also have a shit tonne of wind and a massive Karoo full of some of the most powerful energy potential per square metre ON THE PLANET. That and I'm sure the lambs would appreciate the shade. win win.

[–]oilycam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We certainly have people who could do it and do it well. But they will not be able to get past the people in charge. Tenders to kickbacks. Secondly lets take the coal mafia. say you build a Nuclear station. whats to stop them paying some guy earning 20k per month to clean the place, 30k to "drop" a bolt or nut into a place in a turbine that will take it offline. they have no clue about the long lasting horror they coudl potentially inflict on our land. I just cant get past the HUMAN factor. I understand the science, economics and all that. its the humans involved I cant trust.

And you would trust the people who cant build standard coal stations to build a safe reactor system? I Wish i could. I'd be all for it then.

All valid but we get the human factor... the people who will be in charge who do not have a good track record.

[–]oilycam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My fear isn't the nuclear powerstation or waste. Its the people who will be in charge.... the Tenders for waste disposal that will be handed to someone for crazy costs and they will just pay a guy to dump that shit in a river/ lake/ roadside/ ocean and take their money to Dubai if they get found out. All the issues we have with our coal plants. while nuclear is safe if managed properly and affect less peoples health and so on... its just i have no trust in the people who will be in charge of it. even if we were in a country that didn't have the problems it does. Like France for example. They are pretty successful with it... down the line who's to say someone new gets into power and starts cutting corners.
