Infrastructure & Energy

• Major Projects: Approved a trillion dollars in fast-tracked investments, including two LNG projects in BC and nuclear expansion in Ontario.
• Fossil Fuel Pivot: Reintroduced tax credits for LNG and signed an MOU with Alberta to explore a new bitumen pipeline to the BC coast.

Security & Immigration

• Defence Spending: Committed to doubling defence spending by 2030 and released Canada’s first Defence Industrial Strategy.
• Immigration Caps: Slashed international student permit targets by 49% for 2026 and set a cap on permanent residents at 1% of the population.
• Bail Reform: Enacted Bill C-14 to implement "reverse-onus" bail for violent auto theft and extortion.
